Waste of Time

It took me several weeks of discussion with the internet provider and netgear and when we finally tried numerous solutions and agreed it has to be returned Best Buy would not refund it and instead gave me a BB gift card. Be careful abut the 14 day return policy. They tried to upgrade me to their "elite customer program" which apparently has different rules. Nice to know I'm just a "Peasant".

Don't waste the money

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This would only stay connected to the internet for about 2 minutes before dropping out and continuously resetting. Couldn't even get into settings to change channels before it dropped out multiple times. ISP says internet connectivity is good; my old modem/router that I ended up re-plugging in says the same. Also 5ghz kept dropping out while it was connected. It got pretty warm in the 30 minutes it was plugged in and also made a quiet but audible-enough hum. Not sure if this is because it's a combined modem/router, because of the brand, or because of the model, but it's junk and I don't recommend it.

Trash product

It broke down within the first two months of owning it BRAND NEW. Technical support is horrible, when they can’t find the answer to help they keep telling you to do the same thing and eventually just hang up on you. Never again

DO NOT BUY NETGEAR PRODUCTS

I called the support team to get help. They said they could fix my issue but I had to purchase the 2 year technical support warranty for $170 dollars. I’d highly recommend to not purchase any NETGEAR products and to purchase a different brand. God Bless.

Horrible product, Save urself a headache don't buy

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this router wifi combo a year ago, For the past 4 months, I have had to restart it an average of 3 times a day due to no signal from the wifi. It started giving me headaches about 6 months ago when the ethernet ports didn't work anymore. I paid almost $200 dollars for something that didn't last a year. i just couldn't take it anymore and had to buy an Arris router modem instead. It seems to be working fine so far, fingers crossed. Time will tell. STAY AWAY from this Nighthawk AC1900 router and save ur money.

Not happy with my Router

I turned in my router back to Spectrum, to get this router. Now, im hearing it from my daughters and wife!!!!! My daughter is a junior in high school and she keeps getting kicked out of her zoom classes and it freezes up. This is not good!! The reviews i read on this router were too good to be true. I have total tech protection coverage from Best Buy, they are scheduled to arrive on 12-08, if this doesnt help, I WILL RETURN THIS ROUTER back to Best Buy!!

You are gravely mistaken. This unit is slow and if you are having speed issues at home get your pieces separately. Buy a router and modem, but definitely not this for $189.99. Have had issue after 30-45 days of purchase with home wi-fi troubleshooted for 2-3 weeks with company IT and Comcast. Realized with IT gut I need them seperate not one.

Very disappointed!

Worked great at first. Now it is spontaneously rebooting about 5 times a day. I don’t think it even has to do with how many devices are attached. Going to look for a different model. Too bad I can’t get my money back!

Firmware issues with spectrum!!!!!

You cannot update the firmware yourself on this device. There simply is not an option. Do your research peeps I’m less than 6 months out on this router and can’t get the firmware update, the ISP won’t do it. Meanwhile I bounce from 7-70 (yes 7!!!!) mbps when I should be capping out upto 400. BTW I had zero issues up until one week ago.
