Bad product. Bad customer service.

Best Buy would not take router back and had to go through factory warranty with Netgear. Unable to get through to a human at Netgear. So I'm out $212. Salesperson told me router would last 4-6 years. I come to find this to be a blatant lie. Geek Squad guy told me lifespan is 2 years. Nevertheless, it didn't even last 6 weeks. I would never have purchased in the first place. Unacceptable.

Let down

It dropped once and the shell came apart. Also, the parental controls are worthless on the app. I doable my son’s PS4 and go back in and it is on again.

Totally unstable, now I can't get a refund.

A few times a day it would stop allowing client devices to make new connections. After weeks of troubleshooting with both Netgear and the ISP I replaced it. I'm now using a Spectrum supplied modem and separate router and it works great. All the time spent troubleshooting, however, burned through my ability to return it to Best Buy. Now Netgear says they, finally, will replace it but I no longer have any need for it. I'd really just like refund.

Poor quality for price

Needed this ite basedvon brand and Best Buy enploy

Didn't give firmware

Had to call a tech to come replace it with one of xfinity's modem and now it is fast, so returned this one.

Excellent Modem Router....so fast.

wifi signal often drops off without any reseaons.

But there is a problem with this model router. The wifi signal often disappears for a few minutes, then comes back again. The price of this router is much higher than other competitors, but its wifi is not stable. It is NOT worth buying it if you want a reliable connection. And the APP from Netgear can not work with this model. I had an old Netgear router bought in 2009, it never has such a problem as this one. Or I might get a bad one.

Disappointed

I'm stuck with a low quality router as long as I stay with them. I just wish Night Hawk would have allowed us to override this discrepancy somehow.

Internet for our twostory home isn't always 100%

Downstairs is good but our Alexa is hard to keep a signal in our back yard..still well within the range that is advertised

Not sure if my provider affected my speed because of replacing their router or not. But my speed was noticeably slower and intermittent

This device didnt provide as good of a signal as I expected. Signal strength to the second floor of my home was the same as when I was using a $60 router.
