Buy April there was already a problem..

Would not recommend this product. This is my second and the same thing happened to the first one although I did manage to get a number of years of correct use with that one!

Faulty Router

Keeps dropping out and takes hours to get the internet working again. My five year router that I bought this one to replace worked better. Is there a way to return/trade it in? Very unhappy with the purchase especially since it was a more expensive router.

didn't work fast or effective for me

The speeds should have been faster with this unit since it is an improvement from what I had on multiple levels, but everything slowed down and wireless connections got dropped frequently.

Disappointing sale

By the time we were told that by optimum we were unable to exchange it for one that accommodates a phone line as it was after 14 days. Now we are stuck with this and a separate modem.

Don’t buy if you have more than 4 devices

God help you if you need tech support

After four fruitless and frustrating hours on the phone with India trying to get this thing to work, I can confidently report that Netgear couldn't care less.

Great when it worked, but didn't last long

Netgear only offers support for 90 days. I finally got them to agree to send me a new one because the router only lasted about 6 months, but they never did. Several follow-up messages to Netgear went unanswered. Will never buy a Netgear product again.

Great then malfunctioned

I was unable to connect to my ISP. Unplugged and did a manual reset with no luck. After looking at multiple reviews, this is a common issue this product. The warranty is good for a year but it’s a hassle to get in contact with the company. Now I have a $176 paper weight.
