    tried to install with comcast tech help as well as netgear tech--on phone well over 2 hours combined and neither one could make it work--returned item to store and stayed with comcast's rental modem/router--that works fine even though i have to pay $14 per month

    This router/modem combo was such a bust for us. Less than a year later we had to purchase a new setup because we were not getting the speeds we were paying for, wired in or on WiFi. Support is also difficult since you have to pay to get help to troubleshoot. Won’t purchase net gear ever again, nor a modem/router combo.

    Slow WiFi

    Modem works fine, but wifi is very slow. Disappointed.

    Wireless is week for the money

    I do not have a large house and the Wi-Fi is weak upstairs. It is even week in the room next to the router.

    Its just an year i bought this, all of a sudden it stopped working, i initially thought it was due to some cables/internet provider, after xfinity reviewed everything it was concluded that router is the curlprit and it is not working. I am trying to see if i can get it working with software upgrade or not.

    Best Buy employee recommended this for streaming but I've been having problems. Also disappointed with the wifi range.

    This modem/router is an all in one. We got it for gaming. It is really no better than the one we had from Suddenlink.

    Very Very poor customer support from Netgear

    It stopped working all of sudden and Xfinify guy confirmed it is a defective item. Neither Besy buy/ Netgear team doesn't want to resolve my issue even though I'm in good hardware warranty period. I DONT recommend this at all. Last thing, I never expected such a very poor response from best buy as well.

    Problems since day one. NETGEAR support was TERRIBLE. From long waits to reps ending chat on me the whole experience was terrible. In the end I had to return it because the modem would just reset itself for no reason. This would really interrupt my work In the end I went with the Arris 2350. No issues at all.

    Don’t waste your money. Stopped working in less than a year. Bought it so I can save money and not pay for the rental of modem with Comcast, and didn’t last. Ended up getting the xfi gateway from Comcast, I’m working from due to COVID-19 and can’t be without internet. It’s such a shame but lesson learned.

    If I could give it one star I would. After purchasing and setting everything up I find out the reason my internet is slower than it should be is bc this is antiquated. Why still sell it for more than $200 if it won’t support current internet speeds!
