It is slow

Great Reliable Product of 3 Years!!

I was getting tired of paying for Comcast’s gateway of $14 per month and having a mediocre piece of technology. This gateway exceeded Comcast’s in speed, reliability and performance. I am thinking to upgrade soon to a new gateway and will most likely go with Netgear because of the success I have had with my current one. If you are thinking of making the switch to owning your own gateway, I would highly recommend Netgear!

Great, fast cable modem/router
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace my Comcast/Xfinity supplied cable modem/router. I had tried two previous routers before, one being a Motorola which couldn't connect and a Netgear, which also had an issue connecting. This Netgear router had no problems, it was connected and running in five minutes and have pushed my speeds from around 4 mbps to 84 mbps. I am thrilled. The coverage is also great, with solid coverage in all rooms and the basement, where before I couldn't leave the room I had the router set-up in. I am very happy and have already been telling everyone I know to ditch their cable provided router with this. Well worth the price!!!
