This is our second one of these, the first one was DEAD within 2 weeks. So far this one is great. If you are stuck with CenturyLink for service, this modem is a VERY SIGNIFICANT up grade from the crummy ones they give you. It almost makes being stuck with CenturyLink bearable. We get much faster up and download rates, and multiple people are allowed to play online games or stream movies without near the problems.

I wanted a better router than centurylink offered that would accommodate all of our wireless products this Netgear D7000 is ok.

Exactly what we needed, exactly the right price, exactly the installation ease necessary for me to write this review. We had an old modem from AT&T, were out in the country with bad internet service, had problems with remote areas of the house, and very tired of slow or non-existent service. I did a little research and read reviews about this product, so purchased one day, installed that afternoon with NO issues and now we are VERY pleased with the results. Internet so fast and all remote areas of the house have no problems with connection. I would highly recommend this product! Exactly what we needed!

Set up was fairly easy with my DSL. No problems since set up. Unfortunately this was the only modem/router for DSL Best Buy carried and it was much more expensive than the last one I purchased at Best Buy. So 1 star off for the cost of this item compared to the combos that were only made to be used with cable.

This router works great. We got tired of renting a modem from our phone/internet company so decided to buy our own. It works great, pulls in a good signal. The only problem so far is it has dropped out a couple of times. I gave it four stars due to dropping out a bit. We have to contact our internet company to be sure if it is the router or the company. Not sure at this point.

The router is fast and very easy to setup. This router has made a world of difference as compared to the Verizon router.

Easy to hook up and works like stated, have phone, tv, 2 tablets, pc, and printer, all work good with it, much better than Century Tel, and old router.

Great equipment for our home network! It was a little more complicated to set-up than the salesman suggested, but we powered through and got it done.

I purchased this product because I was tired of having to reset my Centurylink provided modem/router on a weekly basis. Not only do I longer have constant issues with my internet connection, but it has also cleared up all of my WiFi related issues.

An expensive piece of kit, but was easy to set up, and works flawlessly so far!

It's all in the antenna. The design and layout of this unit is superior to most other routers. It works great, easy to configure, and it performs flawlessly.

After a power outage my modem would not reconnect to internet. My service provider was going to charge me to come out in 2 weeks and reconfigure another modem of their choosing. I bought the Netgear modem/wifi and was back on line that night

Easy to install and seems to work just fine for what we need it for

It was the easier one I have ever had to set up. It is everything it said it would be. We are very glad we got this unit and would buy it again.

This is a good modem , easy to hook up, and easy to program for static IP address and WI-Fi configurations.. It performs as specified. I did have two issues: first it is difficult to keep the Wi-Fi antennae oriented properly; second, my ISP ended up installing a bonded circuit (two DSL in parallel), and Netgear routers do not work with bonded circuits

It took us over and hour with tech service to get it up and running. A lot of glitches. After it was running we didn’t have any issues.

Easy set up and good signal. Netgear customer service was good for the most part, though some individuals could not care less about helping you.

This DSL router handles multiple computers, cell phones and gaming systems with ease. It is very reliable and great for the "busy" home!

Very pleased with this product. Setup was easy and coverage very good. My network is working just as well as it did with previous cable service.

It rocks! I had an old Century Link modem that was always bogging down. I bought this Netgear hoping to improve my connection's consistency. It did not disappoint. I'm not a techi, so it was a little intimidating for me to make the switch, but Netgear made it easy. Go for it!
