Easy to Setup

I was replacing a Netgear 300 and hoped this would be strong enough to get from home office in garage to the far side of the house, ~75 feet, but still needed to install a range extender. There are better options now if don't mind being connected to the cloud all of the time.

Not looking forward to setting it up with all of our wi-fi devices. After installing the app on my smartphone it was very easy! The security features are also clear and appreciated. Great wi-fi signals throughout the entire house.

Decent product bad support

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only issues may have been because of Spectrum Internet, but Netgear won’t help me even reset it over the phone after one month unless I buy a protection service agreement at $149 a year. No thanks, bad service and customer support, but product is working well now.

Replaced previous netgear router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Thought I was having router problems- turned out my old router (about 5 yrs old) still worked okay- I just needed some cable wiring replaced coming into the house. That said, my old router was slower and near the end of its expected life, so I'm keeping this new one anyway. I feel much better prepared with it going into the next 5 years. So far, so good.
