Based on a discussion with a techie friend and his advice, I purchased this router to replace one that failed. A less expensive one might have been all I needed, but as a writer I cannot afford down-times (which always come at the wrong times). It was easy to set up and has worked flawlessly.

Bought it to amplify the WiFi signal in our apartment, the installation was easy and the signal is much better now, increased bandwidth, and much more stable (from 30 mbit download to 230 mbit). Also the app is great to keep track of users, and perform speedtests to verify download speed.

My connectivity for streaming would continuously rebuffed prior to installation. Once this was installed I didn’t have anymore slowness for my streaming. I was also able to create a totally separate network id for devices to increase speed. After installation I had 4 differently named networks all able to run 2g and 5g.

I am not tech savvy but was able to easily set this up myself. Love having the app on my phone to see what is connected to the router and to reset it without getting up. Great coverage for my 1800 sq ft house. Normally have at least 7 devices using it. Have teenage gamer/streamer in the house.

Upgraded from an 810 router to this 2300 router. Amazing how we've been going without streaming all this time. I recommend this one!

Fast router. Easy to set up. Good signal in all rooms.

The set up process is almost plug and play. It's an extremely friendly product with a handy app you can use to remotely access and control your various networks. Both the 2.4 and 5 ghz networks are powerful and will cover most good sized homes. I have had zero issues with speed or connection since I set this up. Highly recommended.

Bought this wireless router to assist with my buffering issues when streaming. Works great and easy to install. Highly recommended.

Bought this for my mother-in-law’s house because my sister-in-law is in elementary school online and she was having trouble with her computer freezing during class. After we installed it, the WIFI was faster and extended throughout the house. She hasn’t had any issues since.

After much deliberation, I purchased this router. I am not disappointed as I had speed test results of 204+ MBS at the furthest point in my house from the router's location. The router's firmware is pretty easy to set up too, it takes a little to get into the more advanced settings and see how Netgear organized their menus.

It has great coverage and fast speeds. Easy to set up

No specific directions. You have to go to the web to download. Tried and tried from my desk top computer using web address as instructed only to find "page unavailable." Tried several times on different days and still 'unavailable'. Eventually had to use my son's smart phone (I use a cheap TracFone because I can't bring any electronics into my current employment.) to download mobile app. Note the mobile app is also what's used to set parental controls, so I really didn't want my 14 y/o son with that info. I seriously considered taking it back. Parental control now means unplugging it when I feel the need. Very frustrating and definitely not impressed.

Has everything you want/need for home use. Very good range and performance for the price of 170 at which I bought it at. I wouldn’t recommend this router if you have to pay at the 200$ range, not because it’s bad but you could get a bit better performance for your money.

Needed a more powerful router to use in the house so all the tv’s and gaming system could run without lag. I have a two story house and have this in my living room. It works great and would highly recommend it to anyone needing to boost their internet speed

Router has been great so far. Easy setup and control of settings. The app helps with the process and lets you control who is on your network. This router has performed way better than expected. Being able to add all my wireless devices with great speeds.

Easy to setup with WiFi app. Like the guest WiFi option. Covers the entire house. The only thing I didn’t like was that the router acted a little weird when I changed my DNS settings because of the Disney Circle app. I had to reboot a couple times. Other then that it has been working perfectly.

I purchased this router in order to provide better coverage in our townhouse. Works great and was super easy to setup. I did end up returning but not because there was an issue. I returned it in order to upgrade to the Nighthawk AX8 which uses the new WIFI 6 standard.

After Belkin routers deaths, finally tried NETGEAR. This unit does what it is supposed to do and well. Plus, one less item on the desktop. Not a gamer, but this could handle some programs. Reaches through walls effectively. Keeps the security running. Battery back-up is still a good idea, but that is a Duke problem.

This router was really easy to setup. It's working great keeping our 2 Xbox's, 4 tablets, 2 laptops, and everybodies phones hooked up with the internet. Barely a notice in speed drop when all the kids are busy on their electronics. Downloads games really fast.
