We had issues with streaming videos and using our internet/phones at the same time. We weren’t getting enough bandwidth, even though our internet provider assured us they were providing adequate bandwidth. After we installed this router we instantly started getting about 75% more bandwidth! Great buy!

Loved this router for the speed. However less than 72 hours into using the 5g radio completely died. Only 2.4mhz would work despite reboots, resets, firmware revisions etc. Had to return to the store and now use a Linksys AC router that has been rock solid. There are threads on the internet about this exact problem with this router.

I have had no issues that were showing up in some reviews with the 5G channels. Using a Netgear A6150 WiFi USB2.0 Adapter. Older Toshiba. Satellite A665 Intel Core i3 350M. Not using any of the Parental Control. As is out of the Box.

The router works great in my 1200 sq ft apartment for all my devices including my tv's for internet tv. The app that works with the router works very well and allows to control all aspects of the router. Very pleased with this purchase and would recommend the router.

This router is terrific! Geek squad installed it and I’m enjoying a significant improvement in coverage area and processsin speed across all devices from PCs to iPhones, iPads and Apple watches

Had some issues getting setup and getting all wifi devices to be recognized. But did finally get all to work. Router is a big improvement over my previous router. Would recommend this to anyone needing a new router.

Was recommended by salesperson in store. Has worked very well for me. Had problem with wifi in upstairs bedroom. This model solved the problem. Was told by local cable provider this model was better than the routers they install for customers.

This router is amazing, but when it comes updating it on the mobile app i can't get anything done. It will tell me that the router got updated but in reality it doesn't do anything. So as long as you manual update this router through the computer this is a good buy.

This replaced a seven year old Linksys WRT 120N that was being used in a small church to power multiple devices. We also livestream services and Skype classes. This Netgear router has improved WiFi speed considerately. No more dead zones and dropouts.

Seems to work okay. Netgear customer service contact isn't clear. The antennas don't stand up straight. Can't remember my password so i hope it doesn't go out! Gave it a 4 since it works. Wouldn't recommend it for a beginner.

I purchased this modem to replace the Verizon Fios router which only provided a weak signal throughout my house. Provides strong wifi coverage over my entire home. The router also has many features which make streaming content much more reliable.

We purchased a new home which is U-shaped. I was concerned standard routers wouldn't be powerful enough to cover the full area of the house, but this did the trick. Not only do we have a full Wi-Fi signal from anywhere in the house, but can run so many devices at once without any slowing. Very impressed!

I still have lots of work to do, you will find out how many devices you need to change. Note also you must be on a WIFI machine to connect to the console. Also note that setting up multiple networks means just that, they will not talk to each other.

I love this wireless router. It has so many settings and features built into it for security. If you are like me and want a VERY secure home network, this is the router to get! I am still reading about all of the different settings I do with this router.

While this router does its job as a router, some of the advanced features require different paid subscriptions. Also, I couldn't even setup the router without creating an account with Netgear. If you don't mind that and you don't need any advanced features such as a VPN when your public IP address is dynamic, this router works just fine and has good throughput. I ended up returning it for an Asus that gives me everything I need without having to pay an annoying subscription. Thank you to Best Buy for a generous return policy.

I had some issues with one of my computers and that was because of the either net card on the PC. All of my other devices work fine.It took some time getting use to the app to do the install but I finally made it.

This is a solid router. The many features available via the router app is also very useful. You can check your connection speed and reboot all from the app. Also, the router suddenly stopped working and the warranty promptly replaced it after a short phone call. Love it

Works fairly well. We have about 25 devices on WiFI in our small home and do have weak signal in some places and seems to hang to where I have to reboot it about once or twice a month. Better than my previous router.

2nd go round with this brand. 1st one lasted for 3.5 years and it simply died, but decided to try another one due to the capacity of having up to 10 people on at a time. Worth trying the brand again.

Made the mistake of buying a cheap $50 router at first...the WiFi was horrible and barely reached to my upstairs master bedroom. Picked this up and have fast reliable connection everywhere in my house. Easy set up you can do right from the mobile app
