I kept having lag, stuttering in my connection and terrible range with the router that Frontier Fios gives you with their service. The Nighthawk AC2300 cleared up all these issue, made a world of difference, completely satisfied with my purchase.

We like the Nighthawks in general. I have a slightly older one that was dropping the connection once in a while. It may have only needed a firmware update, but the new one is not dropping so I'm leaving it as is. May give the older one to the grandkids to play with. ;-)

It was an upgrade from our old router. However it barely solved the problem. $100 extra dollars by comparison and only gave me about 30 mps through WiFi. It also need a million software updates before it would work.

Was super easy to setup and great connections speeds throughout the house from office upstairs all the way down to basement. Don't currently have a lot of uses for some of the settings in the Nighthawk app but plenty of extra options there for family controls.

Netgear WNDR4500 failed after about 5 yrs. Nighthawk was on a one-day sale and less expensive than a less robust router. Installation was relatively easy given being a Netgear customer for years. Easily added existing range extender.

This is a huge upgrade over our all in one router/modem combo. We now get great wifi throughout our 2 story house including the basement. Much better connection playing xbox and streaming content. I recommend this product to others that need better speeds.

Here's the story ..... I purchased This Router because Spectrum diagnosed My "I.T." system as having a faulty Router. Anyway, I phoned My Neighbor to find out whether He could help Me out. He suggested buying a New Netgear, Black-Hawk 2300 Model Router; but, He already had the same exact, New Router & that We could try it first & if it worked out. Anyway, My Neighbor's Router worked fine & I was able to return the Other, New Router back to You nice Folks. Anyway, That's The Story. Thankyou & Respectfully Submitted .......... Paul Tarantino

This product, in conjunction with the Arris modem I also bought, seems to have drastically reduced the number of times I have lost my internet connection, both at the TV, as well as my computer upstairs and downstairs.

At the beginning, had this plugged into the router extension in the living room, it would constantly loose connection, plugged it in straight to the Router, no issues since, set up was easy

I bought this router as an upgrade to my old one. It was super easy to set up and I love it that I can log in online and see how it's performing. They also send me helpful hints - like how to turn all the lights off in case you don't like the indicator lights. Awesome!

I had to replace my WiFi infrastructure. When I talked to other IT professionals they told me I couldn't go wrong with Netgear. This is my fourth WiFi router, I don't know why I didn't go with Netgear from the start.

This was a great Wi-Fi router. It blocked malicious websites, I could also pause individual devices Internet connections. Not even two months after I bought it crashed on me.

Wanted to upgrade our houses router, it was a little overkill but has increased the range of our WIFI. I'm also enjoying the app, I just need to open it and I'm able to have full control of who/what is getting data.

We purchased this router in preparation for having cable installed. Brand new, out-of-the-box, and it didn't work. Had to return by Fed Ex, and received a replacement, which works well. It was an easy set-up: attach the antennae, plug in, and go.

Great router. I had to purchase this twice though as a Thunderstorm knocked out my first one, and never worked properly since. Make sure to buy, and plug this into a reputable surge protector!

Great router for gigabit Internet access. I have 1Gbps of Internet access. With this router I can achieve 800Mbps or more using the 5G Wi-Fi band, and 1Gbps using ethernet. No more lag on multi-room HD streaming.

The app is terrible and unreliable, and it took a week or two breaking in period to get everything set up properly, but has now definitely solved our slow and limited reach wifi problem.

Having trouble with its stability. At least once a day, I'll hear ky kids saying, "Ugh, the internet stopped working again!". Through thorough diagnosis, and even having our internet provider out, the issue is this router. Haven't pinpointed why it loses it's flow periodically, but unplugging it, then plugging it back in solves the issue every time. That sucks...I want it to be stable and always working.

This is good working router. The 5.0 wifi kicks butt on my home wifi network. I like the 2 usb ports for usb sharing. The NightHawk app shows who is on my network and I can kick them off if needed.

We were having a lot of issues with her Internet on all our devices. Until we came to Best Buy and ask and associate for what to use and he recommended this, good recommendation we have no problem with our Internet.
