Great Wifi system
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I now have great wifi connections in the yard and through the house. I also have connection within a brick building (a church) about 50 yards from the house. The connection isn't strong, but it is there!

Great range
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This router is great for a large house, and provides what is needed to give the best range to all of your devices. I did need to contact Netgear to help with the hook up but they were awesome and very easy to work with.

Great router for the intermediate
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This router works well for those that can load the app to your phone and follow the directions. It may seem that the directions are a bit difficult but follow them straight through. You will be satisfied with the results.

Couldn't be happier!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from the AC1750 router and wow what the upgrade. This allows me to actually get the internet speeds from my provider that I pay for and the number of devices in my home that I actually use.

Good speed, ok range
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall good product don’t have a ton of devices so no need to go tri-band, will add extender to reach back of Single story 2300 sq ft home as modem / router are in very front of house.

Great router
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This router has been great to use. It supplies enough power for a 3 bedroom townhome and lots of gaming. I have really enjoyed its upgrade of power in comparison to the given Verizon router.

So far(ther), so good
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was having issues with my previous router, and had good luck with Netgear in the past (the sale price didn't hurt either). Signal strength is about the same, but I do notice a boost in throughput and coverage area.

Prob adequate for most w proper firmware
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this as part of general equip upgrade for house (had been 7 years). Unfortunately, I noticed that bandwidth measured was cut in half when connected through router (hard-wired via cat-5e) vs directly from cable modem (cat-5e). Read online that many had experienced this with firmware upgrade (latest isn't always greatest). Took it back and got the proverbial sledgehammer big brother NETGEAR R9000 AD7200 and the issue went away (purchased bandwidth was same from router as modem).

First netgear purchase
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Renting a loaner from Comcast just made me realize I can pay less in the long run so I got rid of all Comcast products and bought a cable modem and wanted a better router. Mynighthawk
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Netgear nighthawk is the best router I have had in my home. The reception is great. You won't be sorry. I got tired of using the rounter/modem combos from the cable providers.

True 1 Gbps speeds obtainable, flawed firmware
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will start off by saying that the R7000p enables me to obtain true 1 gbps ~ 940 mbps up and down. The firmware itself is dated, and really I would label it as somewhat "featureless". However, if you compare to other routers outside of the Linksys realm, the firmware is relatively on par. I have been satisfied with this product up until recently. I decided to "cut the cord" so they say. I have DirecTV NOW, Netflix, HD homerun, 3 different iPads the kids are using, and iPhones that my wife and I use. Not to mention 4 Amazon echo devise. The bad part about this router is when you start adding devise. It house a UDP flood blocking mechanism that the user can't enable or disable. All the sudden you will randomly start losing connection on all of your devise. https://community.netgear.com/t5/Nighthawk-WiFi-Routers/Fatal-Flaw-in-NETGEAR-Routers-Read-Before-Buying/td-p/1134948

Good Product so far
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Haven’t had problems with the router itself since purchase a few weeks ago. I like the integration of the app to control the functions on it, and it seems to be working well for our needs.

Great Name, Not so Great Router...
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this NETGEAR Router with high-hopes of it being a quality item that NETGEAR is known for. However, within about three months of purchased the router constantly dropped connections and was constantly needing rebooted to use it. When it worked, it worked great but the constant dropping of connections (particularly on the 5 GHz side) was a true annoyance. I replaced the entire system with a Google Mesh Wifi system and haven't had any problems since...
