the only problem is if you need to call techsupport now they always lie to you about your pc or network is infect it with some thing...of course thisbis agy3r they log in or some times just at the beginning th3u want To run some program or transfer to specialist and I called th3m because a question regarding the APP thisbis not the first time this happen; they are very aggressive and they (Indian person accent) told me I will not be ablento vall again and I am not welcome to call again because he will be sure no ome answer me, all this because I ask him I only want a help in some thing very simple and not need a specialists to pay $100 to check my 1 computer network. some things wrong with the CEO of netgear to aloud this techsupport to do this. beside that the router works well. didn't got the chance to use the APP just the main and guest wireless setting. I recommend it because the signal was strong inside a restaurant and also outside the restaurant was able to get like 75 feet away

Atleast to me, its the best router I've had to date. Technology for these items are so fast you basically need to update every two years. So far it's been working like a champ and has double my range and coverage over my previous Netgear model. Easy setup as well.

This sits inside my house and I game from the garage outside. Still get really great WiFi and all my games download quickly.

Before this purchase, I was usi g a wireless router router plus an extender. Now all I need is this router. Great purchase.

I will say this about NETGEAR's AC2300; it's very easy to set up and monitor. Granted, it's app isn't perfect, and pushes a separate parental control app that's sold (yes, it isn't free) separately, but it works and provides a great deal of information regarding who's on your wireless network. General coverage is good. Actually, it's pretty wide, extending pretty far from my home (hence the need for monitoring). But the quality can be spotty. I've had speeds drop, choked at the router, with no apparent explanation. I've had difficulty even accessing the wi-fi. These problems, while uncommon, are far from rare. But if you're patient, it's not a bad router overall. There are better routers out there, but if you need one in a pinch, this'll do.

I've did extensive research before making my decision on this router. Bottom line is... This Router ROCKS! With its flexible parental control features through OpenDNS and Circle with Disney, you can manage and keep your family's cyber activities safe! If you're in the market to "smart" upgrade your home, this router will do the trick by managing all smart devices using the MU-MIMO technology.

This router is great. It has great range for my long home and it handles all of our devices easily. One thing to remember, download the Netgear App before you disconnect your old router because you're going to need that for setup, Once you have that, getting everything up and running is a piece of cake!

Bought it for the Circle by Disney parental services. Was unaware that a subscription was needed when u buy it thru the router. If you buy Circle separately the subscription is waived. I ended up returning it and buying Circle separately to avoid subscription. I would not recommend it if You are planning to use Circle parental device that is built into this router.

I just purchased a 4,000 square foot house and this thing covers corner to corner and plus some. I looked up pretty much every router and this was perfect for speeds up to 600mbps. It’s fast and very dependable. My last router was awful but this thing is amazing!

Buying your own router is a great way to get fast internet and save money. This one works well with spectrum and will serve you well for years to come. It’s super easy to set up and there’s an app you can easily use. Not to mention the security practically pays for itself

We were having problems with our router and the number of devices, so we needed to get a router with MIMO functions. Easy setup, although it took a couple of trials to do it, and now we have no more problems with the devices connecting. Speed is fast, so no complaints.

Replaced another brand of router that was failing. Easy install great product. Tech support call to lock in best channels for both 2.4 and 5. The app works great and web access is easy also. better range on both 2.4 and 5 that my last router.

My router was about five years old when I finally purchased this little monster, good gracious it made such a huge difference!! Streaming, gaming, even general surfing, everything was just smooth again across our half million devices, like everyone seems to have these days. You cannot go wrong with this beauty.

This is a great router that in the long run will save me some money with not having to pay the monthly “rental fee” from my internet provider. Easy to use and setup, and has good range. The companion app is also a great feature to monitor usage.

I've had it about a week now, it's been amazing. I have had no lag while playing Xbox one X or PS4 Pro. The lights are a little bright for having it in the bedroom at night, but that's not really something that takes away from the product. It's also helped the speed to the desktop on WiFi upstairs considerably.

This was an upgrade from an older netgear unit. The WiFi range increased and my speed from device to device was noticeable higher. The software took a little time to setup. I had to update. Once the update was completed it was easier to navigate with loads of app features for additional parental control.

Love it. Very powerful. Easy to set. No need to be a computer science. The phone app help you thru the process to set passwords or change them. Easy to navigate. At the far corner of my home you can still get a strength signal. Have it for more than two years. Fantastic!

Throughout this quarantine, my home needed more bandwidth in order to support more devices throughout the days. I also replaced my surfboard modem with a new NETGEAR - 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem. My ISP was easy to get the new modem connected and configured on their network and then it was off to me to get this router up and configured. I spent the better part of 90 minutes working on updating firware, changing the SSID and rebooting the hardware multiple times. Not a big deal for someone who knows what they're doing, but if my parents were setting this up, I would have been called within the first 10 minutes. If you know what you're doing network wise, this baby hums. There is some bloatware that comes with this (Disney Circle or something) but the rest of the features are great. Mobile app is nice!

This unit works with Spectrum. We had rented their little router and it did just ok. My iMac which is the powerful computer in the house was only getting 160mb. When we installed the Netgear it went up to 260mb. Plus it now reaches the entire house.
