This was the 2nd piece I had to buy, I don't like the modem/router combo so bought them separately, they both work together amazing and not had one issue.

Loses the connection with modem frequently. It's quite annoying if I'm in the middle of a game with buddies. For 200 bucks, I expect more. Sadly when this started occurring, I was well past the return date. I don't honestly understand what the issue is. I have to physically turn it off and on 15 seconds later to regain network.. I know better than to contact netgear as eh.

Not a very good router. Had to finally replace it after about 3 months of sporadic results. The problem seem to have stemmed from a security update. I had devices setup on Wi-Fi and direct connect and the router would just drop all connections. Switched a different router and have had 0 problems. I did give 3 stars because the parental controls were very nice. I will miss that feature though I am out the $60 I paid for the yearly sub.

Good product. If I bought again, I would purchase Nighthawk that got more coverage area. This would enable me to use portable electronics further away/outside.

We had to get another router after ours stopped working. We didn’t realize until after it was set up how great of a router we picked! This is worth the money! It seems to do the job well!

If you are a gamer or you work from home, this is a good product. My son immediately stopped complaining about his gaming experience.

We have owned NETGEAR Nighthawk in the past and have been very happy. We just needed and upgrade, so we went back to the company we trust.

Our internet was going slow, but this router has increased our speed and now family members are not complaining about the internet going in and out. Would highly recommend.

Great choice, thanks to Jose, the Store Personnel for his professional advice. Since after installation, we've got not no reason to reboot as compared to the router installed by Spectrum.

I heavily researched routers before buying this one. This particular router is highly rated and it deserves all the praise. It’s worth the extra money to spend on a quality product like this.

Another great Netgear product. I have a large 2 bdrm home and this router super streams 4k video all over and easily handles many users at the same time.

I have owned a Netgear AC1900 more than 2 years and have been very happy with it. Now it has a problem of rebooting by itself several times a day. I bought this Netgear AC2300 and hope it work like the previous router. I updated newest firmware. But it has the same problem. It reboots itself at least once a day. Internet is disconnected. I returned it and bought a Netgear X6 R8000 (AC3200). It works very good without any problem.

Purchased this router to replace a Velop mesh system that kept dropping the WiFi signal. This router gives WiFi through out the entire 2 story house.

Did not live up to it's name unfortunately. would not stay connected to ISP, tested it thoroughly and no joy. In the end switched to ISP provided Wi-Fi and everything works great now. I so wanted to have this work, but just have not been successful with Netgear for the last two router's we have owned.

Reception improved throughout the house. However on occasion the streaming is not fluid from the router to spots in the house with multiple electrical devices.

When I first purchased this router I had issues, I contacted their support and they had me change some settings. That fixed the problem until about a month ago. Now the router drops connection at minimum 2-3 times a day. It has to be power cycled constantly. If I play any games on the router it disconnects 100% of the time. I can't connect to the wifi if I am only 2 rooms away with only 2 walls separating me and the router. And now that my 90 day support is up I can't even contact Netgear anymore. This was the worst router I have ever owned. If zero stars was an option this would get it.

Although I did need Geek Squad, who were great...Thanks Lam! to set it up it does add to wifi signal... but, my signal to home is 60mbps...and best after Netgear is about 40mbps...

This is perfect and very well made! We had DSL and made the switch to Cable, was able to use this with both. It works perfectly, no more connection dropping and it strengthened the connection!

This is a really decent router, but I have an older house with brick walls, and I believe that's why it struggled to reach the opposite end of my house (which is only 1,600 sq ft). So if you don't have brick walls, this is probably a good pick for you. Otherwise, I would spend a little extra and buy the NETGEAR - Orbi AX4200 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System. That router is amazing.

Netgear is my favorite router. It provides extremely fast internet access and runs all of my devices simultaneously both inside and outside the house.
