Works well and was easy to set up. Only negative is how much light it gives off. If you leave it on all the time you won’t want it in your bedroom.

Purchased this router just about two years ago and as of last week the 5GHz network no longer works. Currently limping along with all devices pushed onto the 2.4GHz network until I find a suitable (non-Netgear) replacement. From the beginning the router has had many bugs attributable to the firmware, so much so that I spent a good amount of time researching open source firmware hoping to address the issues and shortcomings of this device by flashing it with something respectable. Many good things have been accomplished using DD-WRT or Tomato or similar, but alas this specific router has little if any support in the “aftermarket” world which really sucks when the factory firmware is garbage. Also no VPN client functionality. To be frank I would have been better off sticking with the R7000 this router replaced, but hindsight is...well, you know the rest. In my opinion Netgear does a great job of selling the sizzle, but their products are not dependable and their support is not reliable. Check out the Synology router if you’re looking for something similar in price and function, or Asus, or Ubiquiti if you want more control.

I was having issue with devices not responding to WiFi and after I hooked this thing up all my problems where gone! It has great signal coverage and it looks great too!

This gave me better speeds than my Spectrum modem and had some good features that provided more protection from viruses and hackers if you're willing pay. Not sure what happened with it but after about a month I couldn't get it to connect on a day I really needed it, so I got angry and smashed it. RIP NETGEAR - Nighthawk AC2300

We had a friend install this router for us. It has improved our internet connection and the picture on our TV that we stream is greatly improved.

This router is sleek, very attractive to have out on my desk at home. You don't have to hide it. I have had no issues with my internet since obtaining this router.

Great router and great interface. I have the app downloaded on my Phone and it allows me to look at who is connected to it and also allows me to disconnect them. Worth every penny!

I bought this router not only for the speed and good reviews but also the pre - loaded parental controls software. Wish I had read the reviews on Disney's Circle from Circle Media. I couldn't get the software to set up a profile, and then I found out the premium version is an additional $5/month after a 30 day free trial. Big surprise when you find out the free version is way too simplistic. The one star reviews on the parental controls outnumber the 4 star 2 to 1 and for good reason. Apparently, it's a bloated hog and burdens the bandwidth as well as doesn't work for many people. I had assumed Netgear would have selected a more mature, solid parental controls software before bundling it on their router. Guess I'll have to pay additional for a better parental controls product on top of the hardware built in to the router price.

This router is good for the money. It has strengthened the WiFi connection around the house. I was having trouble with my gaming computer and this router resolved the issue.

LOVE this sound bar, we were always hitting sound on TV to max and now with this sound bar, having to turn down, great sound, almost feeling the boom in action movies, highly rate.

We were able to cut the cable cord and stream full time with this. It extended out wifi capabilities throughout our entire home.

This is our 3rd net gear router. They have lasted about 4 years each time. Overall, they have been good, just wish they lasted longer.

Been working great ever since I got it. But the range doesn’t seem to be that far. Running with vpn so maybe that’s the issue

We bought this router because it was rated pretty high. It was expensive, but we felt that it would give us the wifi signal we need though the house. Sadly, it continually fails to work and I am having to reboot it at least once a day. We bought the Geek Squad warranty, but due to the virus and everyone supposed to stay home, are unable to get it replaced. If it worked as anticipated, it would be a 5 star rating.

It is great. We purchased this because we did not get internet connection in the house and now we do. Very happy with the purchase.

This has been the best router that I have ever purchased. I have had zero issues with it, however every other router I have. Excellent product.

Great router for multiple wireless satellite recievers and gaming. Located in basement of ranch home. Able to get reception in all rooms upstairs and downstairs.
