Good.... when it works

Over the past week or two, my wife and I have been noticing that the 5Ghz band has been having connection issues, either being unable to be connected to, or losing internet access, while the 2.4Ghz band was OK. Now, we quite frequently have to unplug the router for a couple seconds and plug it back in to get ANYTHING to connect. Came home from work today, neither my phone nor my computer could connect to either wireless band. Wish i could return the thing. Should have learned from my previous Netgear router that bricked itself after about a year. Seems to be the average lifespan of a Netgear. The Asus router at my parents house, however, has been going strong for several years now. Wish i could get a refund... but guess i gotta spend more money on a (better) router.
