May be ok for some users
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to write to warn others and maybe save them some time. If you do some searching on the forums on the Netgear site you can find that many of the netgear routers have an issue that the attached devices list is always empty. This problem has been there for well over a year, netgear has done nothing about it. You can find some very old and very recent posts about the problem on their site forums, no fix though. Sometimes you can reset to factory settings and get the list back, for a day or two, sometimes not at all. Not a fix of course, just a temp work around, plus lots of time to redo the setup up after the reset. For some users this may not matter, if you are not interested in trying to prioritize which devices get higher priority etc it may not be a problem. Hence many good reviews. But if you log in to the router to do setup and config using the standard www.routerlogin.com, the router will show 0 devices attached to it all the time, even though devices may be attached and working fine. If there was any hope of Netgear fixing it I could give more stars here, but obviously its not getting fixed any time soon and for me it means another trip to return it after at least 20 wasted hours of messing with this thing already. Go with another brand...

You won’t get your money worth!!

At most you’ll get is 300mbps..... don’t recommend if you are trying to get the most of your internet..... First picture is new router R7000p ..... 2nd picture is my old router... also a nighthawk r7000
