DECENT ROUTER

I live in a medium size house, and this router loses a lot of bandwidth in a short amount of space. It sure was expensive against other routers. I might pass this one up folks.

Unfortunately, it would drop the Internet connection just about daily and wouldn't come back online until a power cycle of the router. The ReadyShare feature is terrible...very poor speed and would also disappear being inaccessible until...you guessed it...another power cycle of the router. I called their support line but it was after the 90 days so you get limited help. The tech from another country surmised it was a configuration issue because I could get an ip address from the DHCP on the router and then ping the router. REALLY!!! You call that troubleshooting...WOW. In other words, the 1 year Hardware warranty will only be honored if it literally doesn't power on or powers on and shuts itself off. Otherwise, good luck. Was a waste of a lot of money and ended up back to using my old/slower router....but at least it stays connected to the internet.

Only good for about a year

Over the last few months my internet access has dropped multiple times. I initially thought it was my ISP; however, today it dropped and never came back up. After an hour on the phone with the ISP, we found the issue to be the router that was the problem. I've had it a year. Thank goodness I purchased the product replacement warranty with Best Buy and can swap it for a new one. Hopefully this one lasts more than 1 year.
