I HATE THIS ROUTER

Great But

I also constantly have to re-log into the app for some reason. And its really big and bulky and takes too much space.

Great router if you have the right firmware.

Then I did a bad thing and upgraded the firmware. Immediately the 5ghz bands started cutting out randomly and then come right back. Quick search only pointed at the firmware version. Couldn’t roll back firmware, so I exchanged the whole thing for a different (upgraded) model of the same brand. New one works like a charm. Also didn’t care for the QOS list built in, was last updated in 2018, should be updated much more regularly for the amount of $ spent on this. Combined with the firmware issue, I was disappointed.

Good range, weird performance

Everything worked great on it, but for some reason every couple of hours it would just drop both wireless and wired connections for about a minute and then start working again. This was very annoying as I work from home and need to be on my companies VPN all the time, so the constant disconnecting was cause work calls and apps to just disconnect without warning.
