Bought this router to serve a 1200 sft house. We have over 8 devices in use round the clock and so far it serves our needs perfectly.

This was purchased to replace an old, slower router that would not handle my new 200mbps speed. It handles the computer speed in the same room perfectly. We have an additional computer on another level at the opposite end of the house that we have always used an extender for because it is so difficult to reach. While this router tripled the speed of the difficult to reach one, it is still only 15mbps. That is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. However, I don't know if another router can do better in that situation.

Very good coverage in a 2500 sqft house. Easy to set up with app. My sister lives across the street and signal reaches there.

Set up was painless and super easy once you download the app. App makes using this router very convenient and easy. Would highly recommend.

Good, powerful router for the money. Setup leaves something to be desired as it's simply downloading an app to your smartphone (what if you don't own a smartphone?) and the app is touchy to use. Thankfully Netgear's tech support number is also provided and short wait times to talk to a person. They do a very good job of helping you get the router set up and functioning. And, the phone app is good for checking status on the router at any time.

This router is a nice and basic router. The ease of setup was excellent and connecting all my devices to it was a breeze. The range on this router isn't the greatest. I have had this for 6 months now and I am ready to upgrade to a more powerful router already. I had added extra devices and it just isn't able to keep up. I am running 25 plus devices in my home somedays. But I would highly recommend this router if you have 20 or less devices.

Easy to set up and works great. Cost a little more then I wanted to spend but for what we got it was worth it .

Easy to install, very good signal inside the house and in our backyard. Also faster than our old wireless router.

I was surprised how far this wifi device reached. This device replaced a client's Netgear X4S router, radio died. Not a big fan of Netgear myself, but when you need a Netgear (client's request) now, this device was available at Best Buy. Overall it seems like a good little starter router. The only bad, Netgear's failure as firmware developers - but for the average residential consumer, this product will do.

After switching to a high speed internet service at home, I went looking for an 802.11ac Wi-Fi router (backward compatible with older versions) with MU-MIMO and Beamforming. When the price was reduced for the Netgear Nighthawk AC2300, the decision to purchase it became obvious. Set up was easy. The range, signal strength, stability, and data transfer rates are impressive for what I consider a bargain-priced router. My kids (college sophomore and high school junior) and I usually connect on stand-alone wireless devices (smart phones and laptops) and we are thoroughly enjoying the benefits of this upgrade.

Works well. Easy setup & easy to use. Not too sure about the 3 strange looking antenna, but we do get a good connection.

Best router. I replaced a Linksys router that was giving me issues. The is far better then what I replaced it with. Faster and easier to set and manage.

Just signed up for Greenlight service and needed a faster router. This was the perfect fit for me. Great price, speed and range! I highly recommend it.

Good strong signal with fairly good coverage. After a year of use, must be rebooted too often.

Purchased this router when it was on sale and it easily handles multiple connections steaming and gaming without slowing down. It’s also a breeze to set up!!

It was very easy to set this up to replace my old router. And with two bands you can do a lot more. Seems to have a very nice range as well.

Great router. Noticeable speed increase and it is located in basement. It cured the lagging and restarting to get signal.
