    Purchased about 2 years ago. Devise was constantly disconnecting all devices from the internet. Firmware was up to date. Devices had good speed when the router worked. I expected more from a premium device like this. Think I’ll avoid Netgear in the future.

    It's has 3 connection networks that are great. I couldn't keep the signal from dropping.

    I bought this router in September and returned do to it losing wifi all the time in November. Reset it with no luck.

    Constant Broken WiFi Connection

    I bought this to replace my awesome Netgear router that unfortunately got burned up in a lightning storm. Thought I would buy another Netgear and what a huge mistake. This worked fine for a couple of months and then I started getting constant WiFi drops to the point where I was not able to work from home which I do half of the week, use the Internet, play online games, etc. Could not figure it out myself so called Tech Support and they told me to change the band from auto to another fixed band and that it would take 48 hours before I would see an improvement. Huh? That is code for we don't know how to fix it and leave us alone. I guess the landfill will be $500 richer, I will be $500 poorer, and with no Internet.

    Bought the RAX200 after reading I don’t know how many reviews that were obviously BS that so many were saying that it was the best consumer grade router & it definitely is NOT even close! I have my Xbox One X hardwired to it using Cat6 Ethernet & it still gave me more lag & froze 3 times as much as my 7 year old Linksys WRT1900AC router! I couldn’t be more disappointed with a router that costs as much as the RAX200 does - pretty sure it’s the most expensive consumer grade router out there right now & it ain’t worth even a 1/4 that price - was a huge pain in the butt to get set up too especially when their support employee tells you there is no way to set static ip addresses for individual devices & some of the most basic settings that SHOULD be included weren’t & unless ur a total beginner with routers & networking the app is almost completely worthless - the RAX200 is total JUNK!! SAVE YOUR MONEY & look elseware like Ubiquiti - consumer grade routers r ALL garbage these days.

    Never worked great from beginning. We did a factory reset which had it working through the return period, but finally it just kept failing no matter what we did. I think there is a problem with the product's firmware that Netgear needs to address. Read other reviews before purchasing.
