Nice Router - Difficulty with PACE 5286ac

I have 1 Gb internet with AT&T Fiber and static IP's. That comes with a PACE 5286ac. The RAX200 is speedy as advertised, There's a bit of a challenge getting it to play nice with the PACE 5286ac, but after getting it all configured, I'm happy with the RAX200. I have 29 devices on my network and all connect fine and the throughput is great.

As soon as I hooked it up, both the video quality and speed were unmatched by my 1 year old router. With it’s amazing looks and design, it can easily sit in public view and not disrupt the looks of a room. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Despite a little pricey, the item has improved 4 fold over my previous Nighthawk 7 yrs ago. Instead of needing 2 routers for all levels in my house, I now only need one. It works very well with my upgraded Gig Modem and Cat-6 25 ft cable.

The broad view is that this is a dual-band router with support for the newest, fastest version of Wi-Fi and lots of customization options, particularly if you want to use the thing to manage access to networked storage. With a multigig LAN/WAN port that supports incoming speeds of up to 5Gbps and the option to combine two of the single-gig Ethernet jacks for aggregated incoming wired speeds of up to 2Gbps, this router takes some of the common networking bottlenecks and busts right through them. That said, the RAX120 is best suited for advanced users ready to experiment with those multigig jacks right now. If you're just looking for a Wi-Fi 6 router that'll provide a reliable connection throughout your home, there are good alternatives out there, including ones that cost less.

I swore off Netgear, my NightHawk R8000 kept crashing, my NightHawk R7000 ended up dead after 18 months. And I bought the NightHawk AX8 which crashed and rebooted every two days it seemed and I work from home and this would occur at the worst times! I was done with Netgear at this point. Went with Linksys AC and it was great however it just didn’t have the range I needed. Best Buy only had Netgear AX8, and both AX12s in stock and several other AC routers. I didn’t wanna wait for delivery so I opted for the most expensive router in hopes the extra cost will mean something. And my gamble seems to have paid off. I have great range and speeds throughout my house. No crashes, no issues with range, and things appear great so far. I haven’t had it long and will update this after several months but my initial impressions have been really good! I can’t say I’m unhappy at this point. The only issue I have is it’s large size and piano black finish can get scratched easily and finger prints if you have it somewhere visible.

We were having lots of issues with our old router. Dropped WiFi calls, lag, low strength signal, etc... Our new Netgear Nighthawk AX-12 solved all of them. Even with 5 people in the house and over two dozen connected devices, it performs smooth as can be. Excellent router!

I began researching routers three months ago as we were planning to upgrade our home network and the Netgear AX11000 with Nighthawk Software always "popped up" as the very best. With Internet usage by my husband, son, and myself... my husband working from home, my 16 year old son starting the school year fully virtual... streaming over several devices, and gaming, we couldn't be happier with the speed of all of the above. The Nighthawk software added options we wouldn't even have thought of, and my husband and I both work in the IT field. Installation was easy... even if you've never had any IT experience, I promise. Our network access was dropping all the time and, as I stated above, that was NOT an option for E-Distance learning and my husband working from home. Our home network is now 5G speed and we haven't lost a connection once. This "peace of mind" was worth every penny!

Time to upgrade, when the kids come back to live! Work, college, and gaming are all running at the same time. NETGEAR Nighthawk AX12/12-Stream AX11000 WiFi Router, Wi-Fi 6 (RAX200) was easy for Grandma to set up and connect. The app is priceless! Thanks!

While the speed and coverage is slightly better than my Nighthawk X8, the router refuses to allow some wireless devices to connect. Even with the Access Control off and the correct passkey. The app isn't much help. I was hoping this was going to be a step up from my last router.

I purchased an AX12 RAX120 to connect to my existing Virgin Media Superhub 3 because the latter was struggling to actually route despite offering 386Mbps down. The router is large but not unwieldy and seems well made. Despite a warm room I've yet to hear the fan spin once. To connect the Superb 3: Put the Superhub 3 into modem mode via its admin interface, this disables its routing and wifi. Wait for it to stabilise with one purple(ish) indicator. Install the Netgear Nighthawk app on your phone or tablet (ignore the bad reviews). Start the new router and start the app. Follow the instructions. It was that simple and I can already tell there's an improvement in my WIFI. NOTE: if you change the new routers ssid and password to match your old ones then all your devices will connect without any need to update their configuration.

I was looking for a faster WiFi with latest WiFi 6 standards for my new Dell XPS 17 computer. The Nighthawk AX11000 I purchased fit this bill very well and I can notice better wireless internet connections. I had difficulty installing the router using the Nighthawk App. It needed a QR code and my Nighthawk router did not have one. So my only only option was manual webpage installation using direct wired connection. Fortunately, I was familiar with how this worked. Once my router was installed, everything I had connected to the ethernet ports worked as before. Very happy with this purchase; although, the Nighthawk App for installation was useless to me.

Going from a Netgear Nighthawk AX6000 to this has been night and day. Coverage is SO much better. Speeds are SO much faster (100 mbps down vs 400 mbps down from over 40 feet away). I love the interface and the customizability from the app. 100% recommend.

Faster and better router then i thought. One of the Best router out right now. For the price it’s a must buy, and a necessity. Gives you the most out of your modem signal output. Does a great job. Also has the new generation WiFi 6 technology.

This router has great coverage but it’s unreliable, once I didn’t a factory reset couldn’t get netgear armor to work again. Also it’s ridiculous a 600 dollar router basically has NO SECURITY unless you pay 70 a year for netgear armor. I could see improved security if you want to pay for it, but being you pay or you basically have none for 600 bucks is a joke. Never again netgear, returned

Bought a TV for my kids room just for them to streM Disney plus. My old router wouldn't connect, the nighthawk made all of those problems go away. I have complete coverage in my home. Over 3000 sq ft. Fast speeds and ready for WiFi 6.
