When I bought this model, I wasn't expecting such reliability and security thanks to the application.

Replaced my XB7 Xfinity modem router with this one. I’ve been with xfinity for several years. I’ve been one of the lucky ones to have had very few issues with my service. All that changed about a week ago, when all of a sudden my wifi speeds dropped to about 1/5 of my normal speeds. After finally convincing them I had issues with the XB7, they sent a technician out and he replaced it with a “new” one. It worked fine for a few days, then same issue over ago. I would have to restart it serval times a day just to maintain my speeds. That’s when I decided I was not going thru this again. Also, I was tired of paying their equipment rental fees. After doing my research, I decided to go with the netgear. I was worried swapping from an xfinity modem to a “privately owned” modem, I would encounter some tpye(s) connection issue, then I would spend most of my day on the phone with tech support. Boy was I wrong. The swap was super easy. From the time of unboxing ,to having all my household devices connected, took no longer than 15 minutes. HIGHLY recommend! Super easy swap and setup! Best of all, no more rental fees!

Had this for roughly a year now and I get really good speeds, and it was real easy to set up!

I write this at Best Buy's insistence, because they offered me a good price and delivery and I trust their Tech Support people. I have not yet had the time to install this unit, but similar Netgear products have served me well in the past, if this time it proves otherwise I shall update my review. Internet providers increase their bandwidth as time passes but I tend to think that they also split their available signal between more clients. The result is that I need more range from my modem/router and I hope this device really provides it because the other capabilities exceed my modest needs. Most low cost extenders help but bring their own issues with them. So here's hoping....

I bought this cable modem router Wi-Fi cuz I was getting rid of Wi-Fi router from the cable company so I can have to pay any more money and it is working out very well since I bought it I'm very happy with my purchase

I purchased this modem router after my previous one stopping working and so far it has been great. We have had no interruptions in service, internet has been fast and reliable. WiFi signal is strong and consistent. Setup was pretty straightforward. Haven't had it for a long time but so far, so good.

This is one great modem. Allows my internet speed to run above and beyond the 500g I pay for. The cable company modem ran like a snail. Slowing speeds to under 75 constantly. This modem is very pricey, and I wish it was lower so more people would at least try it. They would love it minus the stickershock.The new modem also connected to my ring cameras without having to push the button on top. Great find.

We purchased the nighthawk router to upgrade and return our rented one from our internet provider. We have had it installed for about a week now and it has been amazing. With our rented router we had to purchase an extender because our plaster walls were interfering with the signal upstairs, mind you our house is small and old. We disconnected the extender and haven't needed it since and our internet connection has been faster then ever despite a few auto connection hiccups in the beginning it is now working great and was easy to troubleshoot through the app. Great product!

Works great and was very easy to hookup. I find this to be a good product.

Ease of setup and the app control made this the easiest router ive setup. The speeds are great, and once you turn off the netgear armor, your speeds get even faster. Definitely recommend not using the built in security, it throttles your speed a decent bit. Overall its a solid 8/10

This modem/router combo is amazing. It allows me to have super fast wifi/ethernet speeds for when im gaming or streaming a movie.

Cox had to come from to fix their connection, but is the fastest a new router is the boss--595 ave mps and 52 up. Covers my house fine.

Installing it was easy and it works well for my needs which include streaming as well as internet access.

It was very easy to install using the step-by-step process in the app. I am amazed at the difference in the speed from the previous, provider-owned modem. We went from download speeds of about 150 mbps to 220 mbps. The nighthawk was definitely worth the purchase and I love that it is modem and router in one. It is so compact and takes up so much less space than the previous, separate units we had.

This replaced an Arris router. Works better, reaches farther, seems faster. However, might be my Xfinity service, as it occasionally stalls out for just a second. Was easy to set up. Like the app.

Huge upgrade from my previous Router / Modem. Xfinity is my internet provider and it was a sinch to get this one set up. Basically my last one lasted 5 years so this one was free considering how much I have saved on rental fees. I went from 80 gbs on my 5G channel to 450gbs!!! I could get a better plan and go a lot faster but 400 is plenty. Anyways, this is a must buy if you rent through Xfinity. It’s easy to set up through the xfinity app.

Updated my router/modem and couldn't be happier. I was replacing my NETGEAR that was a Comcast/Xfinity latest unit (c. 2019) with the new latest NETGEAR unit. EASY setup and now I'm getting the speeds I pay for!

Purchased the wifi 6 to replace an outdated docsis 3.0. So much better as far as delivered spedds, performance and it can handle any amount of connected devices! We have about 30 when you factor in smart appliances and home security.
