Great upgrade! Saving $ by not renting the outdated Xfinity modem/router combo.

It’s a really nice and compatible with Xfinity and inbuilt WiFi + modem

Seems to be working very well. Took a bit of doing to get it installed though.

Was not a simple setup, but only took 10 minute phone call to fix.

Easy to set up if you have XFINITY, just call them, they do their thing and you’re up and running.

It's good and it does have a firewall feature in it, which only allows to filter only legit traffic.

This black Router works very well and fits well on our bookcase shelf.

Money saving and works excellent product. Happy I don't have to rent one from cable company any more.

Modem/router worked good for internet only. I couldn't use it because it wouldnt partition with my voice modem.

The nighthawk was a great purchase as I stream most of my tv shows and also work from home.

Not for the novice! Must have IT skills to link with extenders. Don't expect any assistance fom support. Technicians can barely speak any English.

Great modem you get what you pay for go cheap and get junk

This router/modem combo is garbage. I tried setting it up and it would continuously drop connected devices about 2 minutes after connecting. Many devices wouldn’t even connect. I had Spectrum out and they had trouble getting it to work as well. Even their IT department couldn’t figure out why it was dropping things shortly after connecting to them. I had the Netgear AC1900 for 6 years and never had a single problem. It was a great device so I decided maybe I got a defective unit. I exchanged this for another Nighthawk ax2700 and this one continued to have the same problem. Spectrum came back out and replaced the line to my house and the problem persisted. I then had a friend who is a top tier network specialist come look at it. Even after 3 hours and multiple resets we still couldn’t get any devices to stay connected for more than a couple minutes. So I returned the 2nd one and went with an Eero pro 6E. We had it up and running in under ten minutes and it works great so far. Netgear please take note as forums are littered with people having the same problem. Your support is awful and seems to be outsourced and their only concern is getting a 5 star review or trying to sell the 2 year extra support program.

Internet reception and quality improved across all devices. It was worth the upgrade.
