Works just as advertised. No dropping the internet and plenty of range. Very easy to setup.

NetGear keeps improving their nighthawk line of routers. Super easy to set up if you're a beginner but also has the advanced features if you want to customize your settings. I was annoyed by having to down load the app but quickly came to appreciate it instead of having to http into the router. Great coverage and signal strength.

Set up is quick and easy. Used previous SSID and password so family, smart devices and dvr’s automatically connected. Range covers the whole house and streaming to four devices at once. Zoom meetings and HD TV simultaneously without any noticeable problem. Using the app, it’s easy to monitor and configure.

OMG. Thought all routers were about the same, Well Well worth the cost. Depending on what's going on there will be at least 6 computers and 2 TV's pulling on it. The old router while good used to have lag time when loading videos or streaming tv. This one under max load we can muster no big deal. Also the range is so so much better. Was considering updating my modem speed no need after getting this unit

Reading the reviews tried to do the setup manually but then gave up and followed the recommended process of doing through the app. Setup was then a breeze and faced no issues as what was written in other reviews. Overall great experience with bandwidth upto 470 Mbs on Xfinity. It covers my house which is 2500 sq ft though there are corners where signal might be lower but not that something which is an issue. Have around 12 devices connected to this and still no issues.

I was needing to upgrade from the router my ISP provided because it just couldn’t quite handle the larger amount of devices in my home these days, as well as being too slow. I bought the Nighthawk and although I felt like it was more expensive than I expected they’d be, it’s proven worth every penny. My internet speed has nearly doubled, it never drops out or lags anymore, and I can have all my 12 or so home devices connected at once without strain. 5/5 Great buy

Bought this Netgear router a few weeks ago to replace a Linksys Router that became sluggish in operation. This new router is so powerful that I eliminated a repeater located in the center of my house. In fact I now how coverage in my entire house. Set-up was fast and easy and their control app on my smartphone and it is comprehensive and easy to use. It is very fast in operation. So far very pleased.

I've purchased multiple items from BestBuy over the years and everything has been top notch. Quality and service go a long way and the pricing has always been very reasonable!!! This Netgear router gives you fast speeds and a wide coverage area.

Replaced another Netgear Router that quit working. This one was easy to set up. Runs well. Going around and resetting the item users of this connection was a bummer. But now those units have a better password. Now to see how long it keeps working.

Before this I had the 2400 and it was pretty great I had thought. The only issue was it turned out to he defective. I decided to upgrade to the 4200 and gave yet to have any issues. I have connectivity like no other with all of my devices! Speeds are spectacular! All the streaming devices run at speeds like never before. I love how Netgear fails to disappoint with its devices!

Decided to get a better security and wider range router. This was the best deal I ever could get. I got better range in my older home which the Verizon router was definitely not reaching to certain places. Worth every penny. Really easy to set up and very reliable. The app is great as well. Super easy to control who has access to your internet and it doesn't.

Our old router was outdated and we needed something that would have a strong enough signal to reach the garage for our wifi garage door opener. The sales person was awesome at guiding me to what would work best. We chose the NETGEAR - Nighthawk AX4200. This router works great! It was sooo easy to set up and I love that I get notifications when new devices are connected and when there might be a threat to the system.

Works great!! So far so good. No connectivity problems so far. Got an e-mail saying I needed to update—a little nervous about that!! This was super easy to hook up and connect. I downloaded the Nighthawk app on my phone, set up an account and voila! Wifi!!! Probably took about 8 minutes. I usually have to get help when dealing with routers and modems, but this was super easy.

I needed a dependable router because I work from home and MUST have a reliable internet connection. The 4200 set up easily and dropouts are a thing of the past. It also eliminated some WIFI dead spots that I'd noticed in the past and extended the range to my cell phone. I'm completely happy with this router.

I purchased this router after having huge issues with one of Netgear's modem/router combos. I was nervous about it but I'm glad I did it. It's a great router that was very easy to set up, no discernable flaws, gives me great speeds, and it's able to easily cover my 3000sqft home with no extenders. I highly recommend this product!

The router has great security because it comes with BitDefender. The setup and management is simple it you have a good understanding of networking. The Wi-Fi speed is limited to 600 Mbs. So the statements of is can support up to 2 Gig speeds is not true for the Wi-Fi speed. I am happy with it. You will need an extender because signal lost.

I purchased this router to help with the copious amounts of wifi compatible items my wife likes to have in the house. I have had no issues. I would buy another one, if not, I would buy a larger router.
