NETGEAR - Nighthawk AX4200 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Router - Black

Couldn't be happier! Reasonably priced comes with a intuitive app and is able to handle 400+ MBPS without breaking a sweat! Range is large enough for my 800 sqft apartment and can even be accessed from the moment I park. Have a hardwire to my gaming pc and let's just say I've been winning in fortnite matches alot more since getting it.

After years of leasing a router and paying a monthly fee for “wireless service” I decided to purchase and manage my own wireless network after my old router died. I researched all my available options and decided on the AX4200 because of the size of my house and the number of devices I wanted to connect. The setup through the nighthawk app was extremely easy and very user friendly. I particularly love the smart connect option which basically allows the router to decide which channel to broadcast to each device instead of individually managing each device and network. I would strongly recommend this router but I would also suggest you take a good look at your network because 25 wireless devices adds up fast.

i thought when i bought it ti go with my starlink it was great i got fir more speed and better coverge i git the speed and coverge but next thin gbi know my network some how got comprmised and hacked not sure how bit the router had changed completly from the ip to the waynit functions the armour security said nothing nor did it detect any thing my isp starlink didint even know how i was geting internet with the IP adrees it was giving and the sunnet and the dns its been confuseing but as long as that dont happen to u i defintly recomnd this router its fast throughs good signal but need security improvements so 4 stars

Returned the provided Spectrum router and with the Nighthawk AX4200 my speeds have shown a noticeable improvement so it was worth the upfront cost. Installation was simple and now I have access to both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz frequencies. Side note** With the new Spectrum router it automatically detects frequency (2.4Ghz or 5Ghz) so you can't manually change it, that was a bad decision on Spectrums part in my opinion.

WiFi router was very easy to set up. The rage is much better than I had before. Overall, I'm glad I made the purchase.
