Stop working after a month. I don’t recommend or make sure you buy the protection

Beast of a router. Doesn't dip or anything while everybody is doing their own thing on their own devices(gaming, HD Roku Streaming, etc..) Superb connection and speeds throughout the house (2000 sqft). Looks kinda cool too.

This has been the fastest router I’ve ever set up. My favorite feature is that you can assign a single name and password for all of your network streams, so you don’t have to worry about which one your signed onto to communicate with other devices using your router (eg, printers or stream boxes). I’m running 6 computers, an innumerable amount of mobile devices, smart plugs and bulbs, speakers, and other peripherals on this bad boy and there is 0 lag ever. Gaming online and streaming is a breeze. No complaints here.

We were looking for a wifi router that offered built in security, good strength at a high mb/s rate and able to reach the second floor of our 2 floor house. We got it for a good deal from our local best buy and is honestly the best router we have bough yet!

Great upgrade from an older Netgear router that lasted 5-6 years. Easy enough installation. Connect what needs to be connected and then download the app and finish the set up. Saw an immediate increase in resolution, speed, connectivity and no issues. Been running smooth and strong since it was installed. The app takes a little time to get used to but a great thing to have. Gives you easy access to the router and regular updates. Would recommend to anyone!

Short Review: This will likely get you the speeds you’re paying for (When paired with good modem), and yes it outputs 1 Gbps speeds without issue. I tried to use this with a “cheap” modem (around $100) and got at best 500 Mbps. I tried Xfinity Complete Modem/Router and got at best 700 Mbps. When I paied this router with the Netgear Nighthawk CM2000 I easily get a fairly consistent 900+ Mbps (Using Xfinity 1Gbps plan). If you have a 1Gbps+ eInternet plan I’d highly recommend this router.

The performance of this NetGear router is simply outstanding. It delivers fast and stable internet connectivity throughout my home, even in areas that were previously plagued by weak signals. I can now enjoy strong Wi-Fi signals in every corner of my house, including the backyard. I was having issues with my original router not reaching my upstairs due to the location of my router. I moved it to an area with less obstructions which greatly improved my connection. I upgraded to this and I can tell my internet is faster and the coverage is great.

This router is amazing had long range and I can find the signal every where in my restaurant one router is enough even though multiple devises are connected super fast speed.

I have always been a fan of Net-gear products and this router is no exception. It’s more than I originally wanted to spend on a router but the value is beyond worth it. My internet is faster and reaches further than ever before. There is an app that makes everything easy to install and keeps track of security and health of the router as well. It has surpassed all of my expectations and then some. I game, stream, work from home, do schoolwork, and have several hobbies that require a good connection and this has delivered on all of them. 10/10

Excellent speeds. Set up was difficult. Range is good. Not much to complain about. There's better but this is still top tier

As the spec and item described this a great upper high end Router. Consider your Wifi service speed, your device[s] speed capability, and who your service provider is this Router is amazingly fast. For 2 or 3 bedroom Apartments that what I have or condos, townhouses, or small homes this wifi router can reach and cover it no problem. I have about anywhere from 1-8 devices at any given time and I have no lags or any problems. I have a 250mbps internet service and a upper midrange gaming PC built and I am able to stream or download games and files very quick. The Nighthawk App is simple to use and easy. i love being able to add new devices off the app on the fly and I'm able to see all the devices connected to the router. Also having Netgear security give you alerts and updates is a plus.

This was a replacement for a three year old netgear router that developed intermittent connection problems. I decided to give this one a try and liked how easily I was able to set this router. I also like the additional range and speed this one provided.

Helped with wifi tremendously. We couldn’t get wifi into half the house and we live on a one level slab. Now everything is running much smoother

It’s ok. The interface is decent, easy to use, you can factory reset it if you mess it up. lol. I do find that the it struggles some times but I think that might be more of an issue with the ISP not the router. I do have 2 NETGEAR 8port smart switches so most of my stuff is hard wired. I do have around 20 devices or more connected to it and at least 7-10 of them going at once. As long as I am not having issues with the ISP the router seems to handle everything I have thrown at it without issue. The subscriptions for things like the parental controls should be 90% cheaper and the ability to manage everything should be allowed without subscriptions. So if I want to pause an individual device. I like to be able to pause devices, but having the ability to be able to go into the tables and see what data, sites, time of usage, and etc would be nice. Maybe you can do that without the subscription and I just have not played with it enough. Having the subscription at a cheaper rate so parents that do not have any technical training could utilize it would be a huge selling feature. I do not remember if it has VPN abilities but I do not think it does. It’s been a while since I have got into the interface on my computer. When I have got onto the interface it has mostly and most recently Ben via the app on my phone which is helpful and nice. Especially the ability to access it away from my network.

Excellent range and speed, couple thay with the netgear app to manage your network and the whole package is golden!

This thing is sweet straight out of the bat. looks cool as hell like some kind alien spaceship and is something you want to display rather than hide behind some monitor or something like it. Highly recommended for that bump needed for faster Internet speed, lower speeds are cool for gaming like that 50-75ish mbps but nobody wants to sit around for 5hrs waiting on a game to download, that new 310mbps turns that 5 into maybe 1:30.
