Replaced an old router with the AX5400. Setup took less than 10 minutes and we are now getting fantastic download speeds on our phones, Apple TV, and laptop. Worth every penny. Buy it.

Easy setup and excellent speed and quality. I have been using Nighthawk routers for about 10 years and they have aleays exceeded my expectations.

This router was super easy to set up. the app is intuitive and has security features that are easy to implement and they send you real time updates on threats.

I love this router. It was the ideal one for me and my family since we live in a two-story house with a little over 20 WiFi-powered devices.

I regret buying this router. The advance menu options are basic. No options for a stateful ipv6 address. It lacks a way to add a SSL certificate for remote administration. Otherwise you have to deal with insecure errors. There is no username option. You have to use username "admin". No other options to setup addition users. This router setup is a complete joke. I would avoid buying this router until they come up with a open source option or a better software revision. Otherwise it's an overpriced entry level router with basic options.

Netgear has never let us down and they keep getting better and better. The Nighthawk Ax5400 is doing a great job in our home!

So far, so good. I changed my old router from Optimum for this 1 and I haven't thankfully seen lag since I hooked it up 2 days ago. Hopefully it stays this way!

New router made my connection stronger and my coverage around my home since large space and 2 story no dead spots now.

I have to say this net gear product is one of a kind works great I’ve had this for five months and haven’t had any problems get out and get one today...

Good coverage, Netgear is prompt with patches, handles traffic well and even has a few “advanced” features for those who want to configure them.

It works well in the house and reaches a long way with decent strength. It was hard to set up properly if you aren't the most tech savvy.

This router replaced an aging Linksys EA8500 AC router that was starting to show intermittent WiFi signal stability. While a bit pricey, this new AX router with the OFDMA feature turned on cured that problem and has provided much improved WiFi range and performance for the AC client devices on my home network. Set up was a bit tricky and to my disappointment, I could not set up my old USB printer using the USB 3.0 port on the router, which was easily done with LINKSYS product I retired. Otherwise, I like the router and look forward to finding AX adapters I can plug into my networked devices. Next purchase - a WiFi-capable laser printer.

Item is very nice looking and boy is my wifi connection faster and the range is longer. I ma very happy with my purchase

I will only use nighthawk products because they are the best, and because I love the free app it comes with to monitor my internet. Perfect with High Speeds!

Great coverage and easy to use. We have a small ranch style house and it does exactly what we need for the size house we have.

Setup was straightforward, I like the security features. It is fast and powerful. I have not experienced any drops in connectivity or speed.

Works great and I now have a strong signal trough out my whole house. I would recommend this as a great upgrade and the app that goes with it is also very good.

Run, don't walk from ANY Netgear product. They used to offer an excellent product, they used to have satisfactory customer support. No longer! I spent an accumulated 16 hours of my time working with their tech support on a router within the one-year warranty. Numerous technicians were unable to repair. I made a reasonable suggestion they simply have me ship my non-working router to them and they send me a replacement. The answer was NO. We attempted to challenge the purchase through our credit card provider. They could not refund the charge because the router was 'officially' under the one-year manufacturer’s warranty. We tossed a $300 router in the electrical waste trash! We switched to TP-Link. Check them out. Easy set up, and I have not once had to reach out to their support.

Excellent router, I suggest everyone to upgrade to this it gave me full coverage of my entire house, 3 floors, basement- even my entire yard has a strong signal

This unit works very well in our place, serves to homes 70 ft apart one mad of blocks the other all metal. No internet drops!!!!!
