A: I have 5000+ and all devices work fine.
A: The coverage from the RAX50S will be similar to the coverage you have from your RBK50, but the RAX50S can handle more clients due to the WiFi6 support.
A: I had the same problem. It took me a while eliminating all other possibilities including the internet service provider. The problem I had was a defective router. If I hooked up other routers, no problem. I had to contact Netgear support at least 4 times to go though their "troubleshooting," all which I had done but did again. Troubleshooting included hard reset, reloading firmware update, changing MTU size, etc. They finally acknowledged it was a defective router. My recommendation? Buy Best Buys Geek Squad warranty. It will cost you less and you will get better service. All the service reps including the second and third tiers do not speak English well and even after going through all their support, they still had to get "supervisor's" approval. Then YOU have to pay to ship your router to them. After they get it, they will ship you a replacement. I am still waiting on my replacement.
Q: Is this compatible with AT&T?
A: AT&T is your service provider. If you are using their gateway that has an RJ45 connecter to connect to your computer, then you can add this router and it will work fine. This is how I connected to my Uverse when I was on their service. Note though that this does not connect on its own to AT&T. You will need to have a modem or gateway to do so.
A: I have a similar set up for our townhouse and this router definitely has held up. We have a smart TV in the basement and my husband works downstairs during the day in our extra bedroom.
Q: is this compatible with Verizon fios internet
A: If your FIOS connection was installed with Ethernet and not MOCA, it will work.
Q: Is this router wall mountable?
A: Yes, it can be. They recommend M3 x 20 mm screws. This is in the user manual for your reference. http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/RAX50/RAX50_UM_EN.pdf
Q: How many devices does it support?
A: Right now I’m out house it covers 15 with no hitches was told that it cover up to 25.
