I bought my first nighthawk router 2 years ago and upgraded to this newer model. I love the Armor protection service you offer as well. This is easily a standout product. I am currently trying to get everything inline to start a small 3d printing business and I am sure this will suit my needs.

From unboxing to on-line less than 15 minutes, easiest ever....

Have been using Netgear routers for quite a while. A little harder to set up than previous Netgear products, but certainly doable with a little patience. Works extremely well. A remarkably faster web experience. Netflix and Amazon prime video come in so much faster and better. Love it!!

I have a R7000 Router that I was replacing and given the age of it and the newer technology, I was rather surprised at the difficulty in completing the setup and had some challenges. Since this is the primary unit in my house, it gets the WAN IP, etc. Usually this has been plug and play for the most part but today, I actually had to spend close to an hour fiddling with things including a call to the cable provider since it seemed that it would not pull the WAN IP. Then i opted to do speed tests from a couple of wireless devices. On the 7000, most devices could pull full speed (or close) when on 5G. However, i noted that none of the devices seemed to be able to ramp up to full speed. The internet test from the Router seemed to be able to do the full speed. So, I am unclear why I am seeing this throttling

Good router to buy easy to setup phone app even better to use

My family and I just moved in to our first house and it is great to have the confidence of the nighthawk AX5400. My wife can focus on her school work and my son and I can play without worry of slowing down her connection. Easy setup and connectivity with the netgear app.

I only gave this router 2 stars because it was NOT easy to install. I had to get a neighbor who has computer experience to come over and help me and it took 3 hours. My suggestion is to hire English/tech people to write out clear and succinct directions to set up the router. Does it work--yes- I don't get knocked off Zoom meetings anymore, but I hate to have to rely on others to help me with things like this, especially when clear and thorough directions can be included.

Compared to my previous router, this is much faster

this is my second Night hawk purchase in 2 days the first one I spent 5 hrs on the phone with the techs and then they said return it and get a new one. Then I spent 3 hours on the phone twice to get this router to work with all of our devices. I will never listen to another Best Buy sales person.

After getting rid of our previous and expensive cable company's internet equipment; we noticed an immediate speed boost, security control and flexibility over our own network without the lies and issues from the cable company. Shame on you cable company!
