And like the previous version of Netgear modem I had, this is similarly an impressive and reliable device from a manufacturer that takes time to support their products with regular updates.

Best router we have had!

So I researched a bunch of different one and decided on the Nighthawk AX5400. I am very happy with my choice, this was a major upgrade to our previous nighthawk. It never disconnects, or lags for speed no make what we have connected. And having the ability to have wifi dedicated for our guest is awesome. You can not go wrong with this product.

Easy to set up

The only problem I have is that it seems to take a long time to connect and connections to the router will be dropped randomly. I have not determined if it is the router or my internet provider. I would still recommend it. It was very easy to set up.

Much improved

I had a 7300 which worked well for sometime but kept dropping Internet and we had slow download speeds. I decided to upgrade and with the free security software helped make my decision. We have 45 devices connected and it has not dropped ISP once in 5 weeks. I would recommend this router and as far as the range it is slightly better than the old router but could always be better of course.

Went to best buy, told the guy my problem and he showed me this......my wifi flies now! Thanks to the young man who helped me and knew what he was talking about.

Great Router

Only thing I didn’t like was how to set it up. It’s kind of difficult if you don’t know much about this kinds of stuff but overall it is a great investment!

Maybe it’s positioning the antennas? It’s supposed to be stronger and faster. The iPhone app works good. It’s expensive for wifi6 but hopefully the price comes down. Performance is good with better control over devices connected to the router.
