    I have to rate one star to write a review. Only bought this because the ASUS was not available. When the ASUS became available, the return period was a day late in this piece of crap. Hard to install and then reception is terrible in the same room. My previous Nighthawk was top tier. Not sure why this is even on the market….

    It's an okay router, but....

    I have had this device since July 2021. Mainly got it to use the Dumas OS on it and only use the features for maybe a month's worth. I just returned it last week to get an exchange for another router of equal value for what I paid. I had a 5 yr geek squad protection plan on it. I was fortunate enough to receive a full refund instead. For a little over 2 yrs, I've never had any operational issues for as connectivity. But since 2 months ago, I've had constant connectivity issues. Majority of it was with my IoT devixes such as my Nanoleaf and feit lights. Wifi connection would randomly disconnect and then I would have a hard time trying to reconnect devices. The Dumas OS is outdated at this point and doesn't work as well when want to make of the QoS features. For the price, the router is not worth buying. I purchased the Netduma R3 router on Saturday and that was lasted at the same price. So far that router is okay too. Seems acess websites is slow, but I'm not sure if maybe using the built-in Ad Block software is a cause. The Dumas OS is way bettwr though since it handles the v4.0.1 version.

    This product is terrible. We did research on what to buy and changed our mind when the Best Buy employee told us that it worked better with Verizon. It is an expensive piece of junk that drops signal constantly. We had an Apple airport for years and years that rarely in all of that time we had it had any issues. We only bought a new one with the idea that the new one may be faster. Do not buy!

    This product works well but buffers a lot. should have bought something a little better, but for $300 it should.

    I did have to return it because it wasn’t working as it should with my AT&T internet.

    Terrible router with known 2.4 issues! Not to mention the app to set up the router is awful too! I just switched to a linksys mesh system and it amazing! I'll never but a better product again.

    Didn’t work for me. Frustrating to setup, but very doable just takes a little time to get it set right. I really love Netgear products and thought this router would be no different. Sadly though it just wasn’t. Netgear failed with this product, not worth the money. So much better options out there for the price.

    No WPA3/WPA2 transition mode

    Does not support WPA3/WPA2 mode so pretty useless all of your devices support Wi-Fi 6 since the best feature of Wi-Fi 6 is WPA3 for security. Also, not very beefy of a router for the price. Went with the ASUS - ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 instead and love it.

    Doesnt work right. Never had issuse like this before. Constant connections issues. Everything drops at least once a day. Of course it finally gives out 5 days after return policy expired.

    Very poor manufacturing process for these devices. Was thinking this will be the next gen of routers. Worked for 1 month until it reset itself to factory defaults on its own I ended up losing all my configurations.

    Bad software

    Software is trash bought yesterday returned next day. Got it set up. Withen 4 hours had to factory reset it 3 times, also feels plastic is flimsy and cheap.

    Another disappointing overpriced wireless router. Consistently drops 2.4 signal. WiFi range is pathetic compared to my much older R7000 I am replacing.

    Wouldnt recommend at all stay way from the brand. Nothing but trouble with it, if your wanting reliable go with Arris or Motorola brands. Oh i even had to return it.
