Wifi is slow, and it doesn't do anything for gaming.

Terrible product. Difficult to install. Difficult to operate

Paid 400 bucks for a gaming router and got 1/3 of the wifi that my velop mesh puts out!

Did not work the way it’s intended. DUMA OS is garbage

Drops speed and not stable router 5Ghz very unstable

Do not by..... wireless speeds go up and down very bad dont know why

I'm just going to say don't buy this under any circumstances.

This was a great upgrade to my home's wifi network. Setup was extremely simple, with many options for monitoring and configuration. I had no issues swapping this for my older wifi router, and all of mu devices connect flawlessly. Speeds are fast and consistent, reaching the stated limit of my internet connection consistently. Although I did not do a great deal of gaming, we did stream a large amout of HD and 4K video to various devices. Gaming was fine with my son's consoles. Speeds were fast and lag very low on Suddenlink. I received a beta version of the Nighthawk AX5400 at no cost for testing and review.

This is by far my favorite router ever it can handle everything I've thrown at it. The system gui works great and is very easy to navigate. Plus using the nighthawk app with it is great you can monitor all connected devices and even block them with just a touch. I love the wifi 6 works great with my phones super fast downloads. Setup is super easy for anyone to setup. I did receive this from netgear for free for a beta test and these are my own opinions with the experience I've had with this router. I highly recommend this router.

I purchased this Router on May 19th at my local Bestbuy and was happy with the ease of setup and extended coverage. However barely two weeks into operation, the router started overloading the CPU and would deny and drop connections. I was in the process of verifying settings and decided it would be best to attempt a fresh restart from new and pressed the button for factory reset. That was the last time this router had any signs of life beyond a power light that would display an orange boot to a brief white tease before it cycled back to boot. The router is stuck in a boot loop and will not reset. Contacted Netgear customer support and got assigned a support ticket. Netgear doesn't provide any support. I got a generic copy paste try this step and that step and that was the last time Netgear responded to my support ticket. June 6th. I wasted my money on this router and with the lack of support from the manufacturer, will never buy a netgear anything again. Steer clear and go buy something else. I went with UniFi instead. At leaset they have customer service

This router is more than I expected, from opening the box, to the set up; its all packaged very well for an easy set up. Now that I've had it for over a week, I can give my honest review and it is amazing. I'm in a 2 story, 4500 SQ FT home and we haven't noticed any lags or slow downs.

This router is pretty great! The dashboard is indeed a bit slow but being a new interface I’m guessing it just needs some bugs worked out still and will improve with time. That’s my only gripe, once you have it set up the thing is rock solid and stable with great range. It covers my 1900 sq foot home just fine and we get a full speed fast signal in the back yard also. It also has some gaming features I haven’t used yet but it’s cool to see so many configurable options if I had the need. I upgraded my laptop with an AX200 wifi 6 card to get the most out of the router and this thing is screaming. Now I need to upgrade the rest of the house with wifi 6 gear.

This is a great router I went from 40mb per second download speed to 346 download all the time it’s great and 12 mbps upload. Overall great for anything from gaming watching streaming services etc always great fps and always in hd-4k

This nighthawk router is a modest upgrade from my previous nighthawk. Works everywhere in and around my house. Only reason I replaced is my original was fried in lightening strike.

Was having issues with internet providers router/modem. When we changed to just the modem, had to purchase my own router. Have not had a single day where anything was slow or timed out. Definitely worth the money.

I've owned several Netgear routers over the years and installation has always been straight forward and easy. Then I met this one. Installation is extremely awkward and time consuming. In order to install it you have to download an app to your smart phone. This is an unneeded detour and the person who thought this up needs to be severely counseled. I don't have cell phone reception where I live and I had to drive three miles to a wifi hotspot to download the app. After wasting several hours I finally got it installed and now all is fine. If it hadn't been for the extremely stupid method of installation I would have given it 5 stars. Netgear, please pay attention.

Best router I’ve bought net company couldn’t pay me to take thier trash router

NetGear has always been the top brand for modems and routers. I live in about a 600sq ft trailer and our router is able to get us amazing speeds and reach throughout the house. It's safe to say this is one of the best gaming routers out there right now! I get great internet speeds at about a stead 100mbps and really low pings even with 12 devices connected to it at once. Thanks Net Gear
