When it works it works great but sometimes i hve to reset it to make it work. For $400 it shouldn’t have to be reset every other day!

Using in combination with netgear voice modem CM1150V great combination with very fast internet service works flawlessly and was easy setup with the Netgear app..

Overall the router is living up to its value. However I have to reboot it every week due to performance slowness. Price is a little expensive. But overall it’s a great router.

Really easy to setup. Really enhanced the speed of the Network as well as allowing me to manage devices on the network also. I was happy with the router.

This router immediately solved our WiFi issues. I have over 25 devices connected and everything is working great so far. It is very expensive however.

I think this router is much better than the last one I had which was the RX 500 Gaming router it seems . I am satisfied with this product.

Got this router because our security cameras kept depleting their batteries because our previous router was overloaded and kept losing signal. We hadn't really noticed exactly how many devices we'd added to our house over the years and it never occurred to us that we had overloaded the old one. This one was SUPER easy to hook up (except that you need an admin password at one point, and it is NOT sent with anything you get in the package). I was able to find it with an online search and finish the installation. Very fast and reliable. Haven't had our network go down since!

This router is like a beta test router. I hooked it up to my modem and it was working pretty good until the next day. The wifi started to disconnect the. The entire router disconnect from the modem. Had to restart to get it back up, but the modem started to act up again. Updated to the new latest firmware still doesn’t help. Netgear’s forum regarding this product is riddled with issues. Do yourself a favor and don’t bother getting this router.

We are a streaming family.... Ps4, netflix ,laptops,desktops,cell phones, smart devices... This router is blazing fast and will not disappoint!!

This router is great. It handles multiple connections at faster rates and gets larger coverage. I am a power user and it handles the load.

Very pleased with this router, purchased as a secondary one but has stood up on it’s own and would buy as a standalone router without hesitation.

This is absolutely the worst electronic purchase I have ever made. I have been using routers since the days of dial-up internet and have seen all shades of routers. I have owned from the cheapest to high end routers, but never have I seen such poor product in performance, execution, software or smartphone app. I am tech savvy and have tried every trick in the book but I can't get my Wifi to function properly. I have Spectrum 400 MBPS. Different speed test show 100-300 MBPS download, yet my network keeps dropping, hanging and no app, software, website would open fast enough. Channels, locations, and what not tried. Also got the EAX80 extender to see if that would improve things, but except covering couple of weak spots, no benefits. The app is the WORST ever. Anytime you select something, be prepared to wait 2-3 mins. Simplest of actions on the Netgear app will take 8-10 mins minimum. It is moody and 80% of the time does not show the extender, so I can't change anything in it, except when the horrible app decides to detect it's own extender on its own network. I can go on and on.. but short advice. DO NOT BUY THIS GARBAGE!

Bought this to replace my Nighthawk R8000 and have been happy. The nice thing is there are no antennas to aim. I get great range with the AX8.

You need an iPhone to install the router and I got rid of my phone but have a burner phone in case my car breaks down or there is an accident. I called Netgear and asked for technical support and we did it with my computer. It did not take long and the tech spoke beautiful English and was very patient. You won't believe the speed that you will get of course it is higher different times of the day but I have not seen any faster than this regardless of the time of day. It is very easy to connect wifi devices.

Huge upgrade from router that comes with cable services. Blazing speeds and rather simple to set up. A little pricey but well worth it.

I’m a big gamer and I love this router, no issues had it for a month now and the lagging stop, for the price I wish it was a modem.

Very good router. The apps are nice for extra controls. Easy enough setup. Very fast speeds. Looks like a space ship

I tried other mesh networks. This paired with the nighthawk mesh satellite by far works better and can manage full speed pass through.

we recently upgraded from an older version to this one. Works great! Love the wifi 6 option. Definitely helps with the extremely poor internet we have here on the navy base.
