Amazing speed and coverage. Ports 2, 4 and 5 died within a week. Now I have to deal with the manufacturer for warranty. Argh.

The nighthawk ax8 Is just amazingly fast and looks great with my aleinware desktop.. reminds me of the b-2 stealth ! Cyber as can be enjoy!

Returned. Second device had the same problem. Firmware auto updates. Latest firmware build (upon date of release, then released) contained bugs where the Wi-Fi signal dropped and the unit stopped broadcasting, then automatically fixing itself. Out of box firmware NO ISSUES! Recommend disabling automatic firmware updates.

Needed to be able to reach our detached garage thats 50ft way from the house..its on the edge but gets the job done.

We upgraded to gigabit internet and this router is perfect as I’m able to get those speeds both WiFi and wired

When it is working, it works fine. However, it often loses or pauses WiFi connections and needs to be restarted. Furthermore, when looking at IP addresses or trying to dynamically assign IPs based on MAC address, it doesn't seem to work properly. I have looked on specific devices to identify their IP address, yet the router interface will show a completely different device with that IP (i.e. it shows a Roku device when it should be a printer). All and all the speed is good and the signal strength is good, but for the high price point, there are far too many issues with it. I will be switching to the TP-Link Deco Hybrid Powerline Mesh system which I have installed in multiple locations and works great. The sad part is I test WiFi systems fairly often and I really thought this product was going to provide the performance I was looking for in a house with 5 computers, network printer, all streaming Roku's and smart TVs, Echo's, etc. - which it has not.

Easy to install and update. No gaps throughout the house or yard. Can go two houses over and stay connected!

2nd different type of Netgear router that will be running along nicely and then just stop the internet for about 30 seconds or so, and then just come back on. It will do this every 4 to 6 hours. When it runs, it runs good, although the coverage for me was not as advertised. Since the Netgear product support has gone way downhill, I have switched vendors, and will not buy Netgear routers anymore.

If you have WiFi 6 enabled devices a router capable of using WiFi 6 is needed and net gear is my favorite brand

This is by far best router with all the 19 devices my house has connected. I havent had no problems since i got it....

After the initial firmware upgrade, the router worked great! The Nighthawk app on my phone is very easy to use.

One of the fastest routers I have ever used. Despite the high price tag, I'd still recommend it

I'm using this to include the AC 1900 in extender and I'm getting a wide range so I am very pleased overall.

Easy to set up, best WiFi coverage I’ve ever had! We now get excellent coverage throughout our home and in our yard!

My kids game on the xbox, watch netflix, you tube and stream to their computer all at the same time. There is no lag.

So far this device has been pretty good. I replaced another netgear router and extender with this. It works better than what I had but there are periods of slowness

Very easy to setup using the Netgear app on your phone. Used with the Xfinity 1gb internet package

Router works very well but I did expect a better range. It covers the house but the signal is too weak in the garage. I had to add an extender with it.
