Gamers beware

I have never had full house coverage without extenders before. The wireless speed is excellent. Were it not for these things, this router would get 1 star. You cannot use wired devices. I am a telecommuter (software developer) with an employer provided VOIP. I also had a gaming console on a wired connection for online only games. I kept getting booted out of online games, and discovered that the router disconnects from the modem a few times a day. Wireless connections are unaffected by brief interruptions. This week I got disconnected (again) from a phone call with a coworker. (I can't go wireless with my VOIP). This has been documented in the Netgear community forums for a while now, but has yet to be addressed by Netgear. Some were able to return their product while that window was still open. Others like me are stuck with a $400 partially functioning product. Gamers and telecommuters, beware.

A bit disappointing.

I've been using it for a few months hoping that there would be some updates to improve the performance. It just does not seem to be able to handle a smarthome that has over 20 devices. To be clear it's not terrible just not nearly as good as I had hoped from Netgear.

Broke all the time

It would be for a few seconds to minutes. I had to switch back to my old router and have had no problems since. I would not recommend this product until they fix the problem. The app for the router is slow and buggy.
