Once I got that issue taken care of then I had issues with the software and app to get to the router settings. After I got everything set up in settings I have had no issues. My kids are happy because they have internet to use Roku, computers and xbox. So I am happy because I do not hear no more complaining about no internet.

great coverage poor speed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have At&t 1000 mbps fiber and with our old standard Amplifi from ubiquity we were getting solid 370 up and down on almost all wireless devices in our home. The Amplifi standard only supposed to support 300 up and down. So that was great. With this new over twice the cost router we could only achieve about 220 down and every now and then it got up to 300 up, and that was standing next to it. After going through alot of trouble shooting with the netgear support forums and changing some settings. I found many people that had purchased this AX8 router as well as the AX12 and had the same issue. Just will not put out more than 300 or 400 up or down speeds. i even hard lined to the router and the speed was the same down and a little better up but still much lower than the 1000 up and down we pay for and that the router says it is getting. After Many reboots of this router and my at&t modem i decided to take it back.

Fabulous streaming router

I've never had such an experience as this when using WIFI at home, or, for that matter, even when I was working for the federal government. They had great equipment, but this beats anything I've experienced. I've had this router for a few weeks now and it surpasses anything I've ever experienced in WIFI.

Great router

I returned it to purchase the next higher one of the same brand and family. Overall This brand and router are my favorites. There was nothing wrong with it except that I could afford the next higher up and didn’t want to sell myself cheap. But this ear doing an excellent job as is.
