The router disconnects from the internet very frequently. I have to unplug it from the wall to reboot it and reconnect. I'm running the latest firmware and it still has this issue.

Absolutely a total failure. The signal did not reach across a 20 foot open room. Also it could keep connected to Alexa enabled plugs and light bulbs. When asking Alexa to turn on or off a device it would sometimes take 30 - 60 seconds for action to occur. Replaced it with Orbi by Netgear and could not be happier.

I wanted to upgrade to a WiFi 6 router and I had ASUS routers before and decided to give NETGEAR a try for my next router. While this was great hardware-wise it was lacking in features compared to the ASUS router I had before. In the end I ended up returning this and going with the ASUS RT-AX88U since it kept all the features I had before and was reliable hardware

This thing is awful. It came highly recommended at the local brick and mortar. Brought it home to replace my google router. Bad idea. This thing is junk. Won’t connect to anything, speeds are deplorable at best. Hooked my google router back up and good to go.

The best, most powerful router I've ever owned. I replaced the Orbi system with this and it's wonderful!

Great from time I loaded the app on my phone . Hook up is easy and great connection all the time . Worth the money

It did not even last 7 months before i started having connection issues. I reached a point where support would no longer help me. It had very poor speed and very poor connection maintained. I used to be a big netgear fan, but after this I moved on to Asus.

Worked well with everything we used off WiFi in my household. Computers, cellphones, printer and ect.

This router delivers strong and fast wifi across my 2500sf 2 story home. I am very pleased so far with the performance.

Wifi signal with the AX8 was dropping frequently and poor around the house. My house is fairly open plan and about 2,700 sf. I returned this and replaced it with an Orbi Mesh AC2200 system. The Orbi works and wifi speeds are consistently in 200-400 range around the house. My internet plan is 400 speed.

Not happy with this router as was never able to connect my media ssd hard drive to it. No response from netgear support either.just went ahead and installed it on the shield for plex.If i had the chance to do it again i would have waited for the asus brand as I'm sure they are much better in top of things especially on the support side. have build many systems with asus MB's with no problem and great support

I have always had problems with WiFi range in my home. This product solved it. Can receive a great signal in any room in my house!

This is great, we have had such a better internet experience since switching to this router. We are very happy with the purchase!

I returned it. I could not get it to connect very well and when I did the speed tests was horrible.

Completely happy with this Netgear router. Again this field won't take my comment without unnecessary working

Have had several Netgear products in the past without issue. This product is riddled with bugs and constantly has to be rebooted. Due to the terrible app it can only be rebooted physically which is annoying when it has to be done constantly. I’d recommend avoiding this one if you can.

Killer wifi access point with useful options. Good remote controller software. Wifi coverage is superb.

This replaced the all in one provided by our ISP. WiFi range is much improved and port forwarding is a lot easier.

Gives me about half the speed of my 1 Gig internet speed but it’s connected to multiple devices and that’s fine
