A very well build router that performs amazingly i love this router

It's riders definitely seem to speed up the network in my house very happy with product

This router has numerous issues. Look online at all of the complaints. I used it for a week and couldn’t take all of the constant wireless disconnects so I ended up taking it back and buying the bigger brother. The AX12 appears to have a solid firmware as the RAX80 was very bad.

This router is great I have this for few years and working fine so far

upgraded from R6700, have around 60 devices connected to the AX8 and it doesnt break a sweat

I would never have believed that a router can make such a difference. This one is amazing!

First off, they claim that it has comprehensive parental controls. It does not; at all. Neither supports circle nor their own Genie software. Has some "website filtering" options under the advanced panel but those do not seem to work at all. I have the same wifi disconnects as everyone else has been griping about as well as random ethernet disconnects from its built in hub. Unacceptable for what this costs. Range is mediocre at best, I barely can connect to a Nest camera outside maybe 20 ft away and it does poorly compared to other devices I have owned in the same space. Should have returned it.

Very happy with this router. Setup was not too difficult either.

I've worked with Netgear level 2 support for over 2 months now. They are not able to get the wifi to work for more then a few days before it quits. For unknown reasons the wifi signals stop transmitting randomly and require a reboot to bring back. They have replaced my unit to no avail. They seem unwilling or unable to fix this product. Look at the forums and other reviews - many others have experienced this problem. Buy something else from another router vendor. In my opinion Best Buy should pull this product from their shelves. Unfortunately I am past my return window.

Since we replaced the router, we have seen a marked improvement with data connectivity.

Old Stone house - did not allow strong signal to penetrate to all parts of house. Called in cable company. Old Netgear router did much better job of maintaining signal strength. Called customer service during fourth month of use after cable company came and the customer support was insufficient.

I'm enjoying the strength of the Nighthawk, though I'm sure I haven't used it to its full capacity yet

I purchased this knowing it was pricey because I’m life Theoretically more expensive the better. But not the case. Has cool features as far as future proofing but constantly dropping Wi-Fi I have a smart home so this is not acceptable as my devices require constant connections . returning back to store
