I'm enjoying the strength of the Nighthawk, though I'm sure I haven't used it to its full capacity yet

the usb in the back doesnt work. If you upgrade the firmware, then the speeds slow down very significantly. Not sure what's going on. Also, you can't use the usb as a printer access point nor can you use a usb for network storage... i think netgear failed pretty hard for a router that's almost 400 dollars.

Haven’t had it that long but if it performs as well as it looks, I’m expecting great things !!!

This router is a joke and Netgear should be ashamed for releasing such an unreliable product. I purchased this router because I live in a very congested apartment building- this router has the additional dfs channels so I thought It would solve my issue. Where do I start? Crashes EVERY day-- if you try to transfer any amount of data wirelessly it crashes. It has corrupted the SSD I've attached to one of the usb ports TWICE. Connections drop like crazy, especially with my smart bulbs, etc.. my apartment is 516 SQFT!!! Want to transfer large video files to your SSD wirelessly? If it doesn't crash while you're doing it the files are corrupt and sometimes impossible to play. Want to stream to a hard wired roku? Good luck- Video artifacts galore and drops the stream constantly if it doesn't crash. Returning this joke of a router.

Bought this because old router couldnt handle all the devices. Have had no issues

Expensive, but we were told this was the way to go. So far very happy with this router.

We added this to our wifi setup and it really increased the wifi speed throughout our house.

this router is no joke. although ive noticed my wifi drops out a lot at night

I have the 1gig internet and it gets me gears speeds without slowing down or dropping

needed a new modem for warehouse camera system, had it in stock and ready to go

I’ve had this router for almost a year now. It is the biggest piece of junk I own. It replaced an Apple AirPort Extreme that was really old but worked better, even though the internet dropped often. This thing literally sends the slowest signal I’ve ever seen. I’m currently sitting 20 feet away, line of sight, no other electronics are on or interfering and it can’t play a YouTube video without buffering. I turn off WiFi and on at&t with 1 bar the video plays just fine. What’s funny is somehow it tests well with Speedtest but it’s completely unable to play videos or keep sustained wireless. If I go into another room, immediate drop in any speed there was. I hate this device, which may seem dramatic but it’s true. Netgear messed up big time. Buyer beware! Avoid this thing because it looks cool at all costs.

Love this router, no drops or loss of signal strength and I have this in my basement.
