Overheated
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had router approx six days when it began to get very hot over 110-120 degrees in 68 degree room. WiFi range was so so and speed was good. Ended up taking back and getting A6.

Not what I expected
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After setting up this router and doing the latest firmware update. I received less that impressive speed both wireless and wired speed. I have gigabit speed through Xfinity with a latest Arrias Modem 3.1 DOC. I spent an hour on the phone with Netgear to troubleshoot and the result was I took it back to Best Buy. Sorry for the money this should have been Hot out the box and it wasn't. I like Netgear. This product doesn't live up to expectations.

Known issue -- disconnects devices frequently
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This router has a known issue of disconnecting wifi devices frequently and I have experienced it as well. Restarting, factory restart, Netgear support, firmware updates, nothing has helped. It's inexcusable for such an expensive router to function worse than the cheap one it replaced. Do not buy.

Buy another brand
