Solid router
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.WiFi 6 has been working great. Not noticing battery life improvement but definitely faster speeds on devices, and doesn’t seem to get bogged down with 18 devices linked.

Great Overall Router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The router works great being that I have a docsis 3.1 modem to handle my GIG speeds. This router is only recommended if you're needing that type of speed. The range is great as well. My house is about 3200 sq ft, and works just fine when I'm in the backyard. I would like to see NetGear be more proactive about getting email updates for firmware updates to avoid interruption. Other than that, it's a good product for people with high internet speeds wanting that faster wireless speeds with range. I tested my iMac (wireless) and hit 800 MB, which I was happy with. Definitely recommend the router for those willing to pay that kind of money for a router.

NOT A GOOD GAMING ROUTER
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.NEVER wrote a review before but since this router is so expensive Ive decided to warn everyone before you buy. i like to get the best of the best tech stuff and usually the more expensive the better the product. well not with this product people. I have Netgear CM1200 router paired with it btw. anyways good with multiple devices and speed. HOWEVER if you game its always glitchy, never any consistency and kick you offline MULTIPLE TIMES A DAY! especially if you have others using streaming services and/or just a lot of devices connected while your online. I wouldn't get the next version of this one. IF YOUR A GAMER.. GO WITH ANOTHER OPTION

Nice design
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Futuristic design, made with quality materials. The app made it easy to manage the router but need some improvement on the web page. For some reason I can reach 1gbps with wire but only can reach 600mpbs with 5ghz wifi.

Didn’t solve my Issues
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In my home I have a huge problem with dead zones and getting good speed on my devices. I wasn’t surprised with the speed or WiFi range of this products my ISP router had better signal than this. So it didn’t solve my dead zones issues I live in a 3 bedroom apartment. Also I was averaging about 60mbs on my devices with this router. I ended up returning it and investing an extra $200 to buy a Orbi AX4200 Tri-band Mesh WiFi system and oh boy!! No more dead zones and I’m averaging about 500mbs on my devices. Setup is pretty easy with the apps. Also you can see who’s using your WiFi and you can block their access with the app, which is useful. The app could use some work.

Future Proof
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Start off by saying I have no WiFi 6 devices. I got this to future proof my house/devices. I was looking for a router that could handle 3 Apple TV 4K, three IPhones, two fire tablets, Xbox 4K, three smart TV, and 4 security cameras. I just upgraded to gigabit service through Verizon. I tried sever routers (not going to name them all, but at least 5 different ones. This was on sale for 100 dollars off so I tried it. It has not disappointed me. I have a three level wood construction house that measures around 3500 sqft. I was able to place this router second level by the front door. It covers my ENTIRE home with no issues. I was using two range extenders to accomplish this before. Now I am not using them at all. I would recommend this product.

Had a little trouble setting up.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried for an hour to get the app to work on my phone. My wife tried with her phone and it worked perfectly the first try. Otherwise it made a noticeable difference in speed. It is nice to know that we will be ready for wi-fi6 once it starts to be used more.

Wow, I knew my other router was old but......
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow, my other router was about 10 years old and I was starting to have some issues as I have about 40 devices wireless on my network. I finally bit the bullet after quite a bit of research. Took about 10 minutes to switch out with old router and then just hang on to speeds! Every device in the house started to fly away. I went from struggling to process a web page on my phone outside the house to pages loading in a second or two. I love that the device automatically decides the band for devices so you don't have to pick between 2.4 and 5G! Web interface could use some design/flow improvements but those are just annoying and don't inhibit the abilities of this demon.

So far so good!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Replace an old router and range extender with this one and it was easy to set up. Strong signal to the point that the extender is not needed. Overall quite happy with the Nighthawk.

Great router for connected home
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a new router and have added many Internet of things devices in my home. I experienced glitches and disconnects with my old router. The new router from Netgear was easy to install and very powerful. I had previously upgraded to fiber Internet a year ago and the new router fully takes advantage of the speeds I get through my Internet provider. I am very pleased with this purchase and happy all of my devices work better. When I am away from home I can get my security camera feeds much quicker than I used to be able to with my old router. I had no idea it was a router issue but I am very happy I can access security footage quickly when I’m not at home.

Great Range, Easy Setup, Very Fast!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to setup, great range. I'm running over 60 devices with absolutely no problems. Wireless 5Ghz is exactly the same speed as my wired devices (170Mbs download) in my whole house and basement (2300 Sq Ft)

Good speed but lacking
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up, good speed, and eliminated dead zones. The interface is easy and remote app is nice. There is a big problem with this router and that's no basic IDS.

Expensive, but seems worth it!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Spendy but worth it! This router delivers as promised. As an IT Professional, I enjoy research so did plenty to land on this one as the best. Can't say one bad thing. The set up with the app is a super nice and easy feature that I really appreciate. We were able to eliminate an older air-mesh system because the signal is so strong everywhere in our two-story home (2000 sf/level). I wanted to future proof so it was important to include the "x" band which will replace "c/n" as technology evolves. I could see where this would be adequate for a smaller office as well. We have kids so it is common to have 14 devices connected which includes pc and console gaming, streaming videos, and other less intensive devices - all working great! All that I wanted and more.

Decent router
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had a few issues with the router. Considering what I paid for it, I was hoping I wouldn't. I have had to reset it a few times. I still cant get my laptop to connect thou. But all in all it is a decent product.

Expensive but worth it!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced my Netgear AC 1900 with this primarily because of the new AX Technology. I have a smart home with over 60 Wifi devices hooked to the network. The old router would frequently crash under the load. This new router does handle all of the devices and the network does not crash. There are a few hiccups but its a matter of tweaking settings to get them worked out. I am pleased with the performace of the router and the setup is quite easy. I may opt for the AX12 when it becomes available just to give me a bit more headroom but this is quite a machine.

I’m happy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from a Linksys. I had the Linksys for a little over a year n was happy with it, it did start to slow down and I wanted something faster. Now I’m really happy with this NETGEAR. I just hope it lasts more than a year and a half.
