This is a high performance router. Easily handles more than 20 devices of all sorts including streaming. Large area coverage, easily covers 3400 square ft. Easy set up, latest wifi standard.

Our Linksys router kept dropping the 2.4G signal, and our printers would go offline. Decided to upgrade to this router, and so far there have been no issues. Very pleased with it.

This router is fast but I feel that you have to have a fiber connection to really use it. This did not work at all with my cable internet from Spectrum.

So far so good. I’ve got over 35 devices connected via wifi, and another 25 via an attached switch. Have had no issues, east setup. Would buy again.

Got this router on sale to replace my Netgear R7000. So far, so good. It handles my gigabit internet well and also my many devices that are connected never drop signal.

Very easy to setup...I am extremely satisfied with the performance. I particularly like the app as I can control a lot of variables., and gave total control.,,

Wish we had bought this sooner. We pay for fiber (1000Mbps/ 1 Gig) internet, we never got even close to that speed until buying this bad boy. Blamed our internet provider for low internet speeds, their modem alone will never be able to provide the high speed fiber we pay for. The difference is night and day! No more buffering, 4k streaming all all day everyday. Fast web browsing speeds. While my husband games on his PC I have no trouble browsing the web on my ipad or phone while also streaming netflix 4k. The set up was super easy and the app is awesome!

Like the power button, instead of having to pull out the power chord. Definitely made my internet faster while I play my PS4. Only negative is that it doesn't have a landline jack for my house phone.

Product appears to be in beta state. Software interface via web admin page is a joke. I’ve used routers from 15 years ago with more full featured admin pages than this “cutting edge” router. App is also atrocious. Should have returned device immediately when I was informed that initial setup using web interface wasn’t possible and setup REQUIRED the companion app. Device constantly drops connections to all devices across both bands several times an hour. Netgear support was unresponsive. Spent almost a month troubleshooting the features enabling and disabling them line by line to find the culprit re: disconnects but never was able to get a consistent connection. I guess a positive note is that the device looks super slick?

Very happy with my wireless router. Love netgear. I have a house with old plaster walls and signal is great. Easy to set up and easy to use

its a little pricey but have had no problems since setting it up everythng seems faster while streaming on 3 different devices i had a little problem with set up but other than that it working flawlessly

Do far this product has provided much faster wifi than my previous modem. Range is far superior reaches all rooms of 3500 sq ft ranch style house. Worth the money

I haven't experienced the performance issues that some of the other poor reviews have stated. But I did want to write a review around the app and admin portals. Both of which are terrible and are so disappointing for a router this expensive. The device management is terrible, can't sort/filter by connection type and then when i do update the device name it doesn't seem to last more than a day. What's the point.. plus i have noticed issues with setting static ip addresses but not sure if i can blame the router at this point but probably will soon.

Easy to set up and doesn’t disappoint in speed, a bit pricey but why sacrifice a service you pay for with a junk router. Good strong signal for a larger house

This router did an adequate job for about a year. It supports wifi ax, but the TP-LINK i bought to replace it was literally twice as fast on my internet connection over wifi. Pros: looks like a star wars fighter, has guest networks, not loud, usb port sharing, easy to update firmware. Cons: support is only 90 days, despite 1yr warranty, after 3 months, you must pay for support. QoS "feature" is a black box with no configuration at all. AX wifi can only do about 200Mbps at best. I bought this router at a 25% discount, and thought i would get top tier performance out of it, but it was "decent" at best. My Archer AX11000 for the same money runs circles around this thing and has more advanced configuration options. This router also started bouncing my wifi clients like golf balls on concrete the instant i updated the firmware. Opened a non-free support case with Netgear and got a phone call where we tried some settings, but after those didn't work, well i haven't heard back from them in two weeks. With bad support, very closed firmware, and limited configuration options, i do NOT recommend this router. Other fun fact, when I replace this router with the Archer from TP link, it actually gets along better with the Netgear range extender then this one did. You would think RAX80 + EAX80 would be a synergistic combo, but no.

New AX router with good coverage but additional nodes not yet available. In 1800 sq ft apartment covers all areas inc obstructed areas. In large house needs additional nodes for coverage. Signal good throughout

This router is very powerful and produces great speeds but if you have 2000+ sq. ft home I would recommend buying the nighthawk mesh extender to go with it

I have gig internet from xfinity and this router gets me between 950 - 1 gig of connection spot on. No issues with multiple devices connected to wifi.

I was using an out of date apple router. This one is so fast, has an easy app and is easy to share the network with guests. I really like it.

Been really happy with this wireless router so far, it looks like it should be able to fly. Easy setup and great coverage for my single story house.
