Netgear Nighthawk AXE7800 is one of the latest modems you will want to have. Easy to set up and I am happy with my purchase.

I purchased this to replace an aging Asus RT-AC87U. I was a little hesitant with WiFi 6E being so new, but the speeds of 6ghz cannot be argued with. The 5ghz channel comfortably covers my 2 story house and the 2.4ghz covers a decent bit of my garage and yard. The app is sleek and the ux is quite intuitive. I would recommend this to anyone with a small to medium house and multiple devices.

Before I purchased this, we were using another Netgear Wi-Fi Router that was so old that it didn't have 5G and the range was so bad that I got a weak signal on the other side of the home or even in the next room. So I bit the bullet, and purchased this router and it was the best decision I ever made. Everything works so much better and faster. No buffering issues at all with mostly everything on the 5G network.

I was a Linksys customer for year, but since they are no longer Cisco, reliability has plummeted. After reviewing the NETGEAR-Nighthawk AXE7800, I made the switch. I wish I had done this sooner. This particular router is awesome, without spending a ton of money. It was extremely easy to set up, and has worked flawlessly since I purchased it. Definitely recommend this router.

Get something else. Bought this to replace my setup at home that's provided by the cable company. Cable companies typically give you the cheapest piece of hardware that they can get away with and charge you for a premium product. I wanted to replace that with this Nighthawk AXE7800. It drops connection so much that I have continued to connect the majority of my devices to the wifi that's provided by my cable router rather than to this. This is connected via cable to my router so it should be providing very fast, near infallible connection to the internet. And yet it is more finicky, unnecessarily complex, and less effective than the garbage that the cable company provides with my service.
