Chirps like a bird

While the wifi works well, it randomly chirps like a bird outside your window. If you have it out in the open like a wifi router should be, it can get quite annoying. I thought a fan was failing on my pc at first but no it's just a bunch of electronic noise coming from this router.

Unstable Wifi, useless parental controls

In my old Xfinity router, it let me know about new devices connecting, so I would catch them if they changed IP. Netgear charges extra for this feature, and doesn't even work. 2. After a couple of months, the connection became super unstable. So now I also have angry family members complaining about very unstable WiFi. Yes, I have the latest firmware. 3. Their support is useless. Starts with the typical "tell me the color of the lights", and "please reboot and let's see". I don't have time to sit around with their support team, I have other stuff to do.

DoubleNat issue

The speeds was worth it but ended up returning the product per netgear support possible defect in device. upgrading to the next version of this AXE11000
