Frustrating to setup, USB c why !

I currently have the Nighthawk R8000. I think is much better. At the end couldn’t get usb c Port to recognize any of by external drives. I got frustrated and returned unit, decided to keep by 7 year old R8000 with USB 3 till it dies.

2 Nighthawks was more than enough
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just like everything else they’re becoming disposable. I’ve had two top-of-the-line models of the NETGEAR nighthawks and they both died the month after the protection plan ran out (24 months) .

Such a disappointment.

I have been a long time user of a different brand. This router was north of $300 so obviously expectations are much higher. I have network lags it seems slower than the 2 year router I replaced. The management web interface is terrible. You can't find anything nor are you allowed to do anything. I have been working in the industry long enough to expect more from a higher end router. I am thinking of switching back to the previous brand.
