I bought this router as an upgrade for my home andt it works great. The size is a little difficult, I had to build a shelf to put it on. But that worked out okay.

This is my third Netgear router and they have always been top performer. This one is no different with easy setup and blazing speed. I have used other brands, which sporadic performance and I will not be using any other brand than Netgear.

    Replacement/Upgrade was easier than expected.

I replaced an ASUS router that seemed to forget lately and the process was a lot easier than I expected it to be. The new router seemed to pick up the various security cameras I had assigned fixed IP addresses and I've been able to connect my other multiple devices without difficulty. So it does what it should and that is enough for me.

Device is faster than the Linksys it is replacing but things that worked and were included in that outgoing unit, like parental controls and other related services, are a monthly subscription fee in Netgear. Works fine without it, or at least until the free trial is over.

    Fantastic but one flaw

It's a great router, fast, stable, and lots of great options. The only flaw is the app setup. While straight forward and easy it had issues completing the setup. With no option to set up with out a phone it made it a bit more challenging. I forced closed the app twice to get it to complete. After it was done though it has been smooth sailing.

This is the best that Netgear has to offer. Very easy setup and better than the past units where I couldn't modify the settings without the router going back to the default set-up settings and configuration. Love the 2.5GB Internet port. Makes it easy for streaming and broadcasting live events...What a great boost. The unit is quiet and stays cool...This is truly a Best Buy!!!

    Best 6E Router I’ve Used

I swapped over from the eero Pro 6E to the Nighthawk RAXE300 because the eero kept dropping my smart devices. The setup process for the nighthawk was incredibly simple and provides Gig speeds over WiFi to my 6E devices. I haven’t had any issues with my devices being disconnected. Highly satisfied!

An awesome router if you care about your extended connections. I got ATT Fiber and the modem/router they provide; however, the WiFi was terrible and my speed was in the low 400 mbps. I got this Netgear router when it was on sale around $338. Set up was easy with the app and I disabled the WiFi from ATT. My speed is constantly in the 900 mbps

Very sleek and very fast. I am impressed with this Nighthawk and the install was a breeze. Much faster and more capable than my last Nighthawk which is about 5yrs old now. This supports Wifi 6E which means I now have a dedicated channel for my Asus gaming laptop. Download speeds are just awesome now!

    6E With Compromises.

The overall setup and configuration process is fine. Signal strength is rarely an issue in my large suburban apartment complex, but there are periodic issues. I was consistently losing internet connectivity at least once a day. I had assumed it was a modem issue, but replacing the modem only solved the issue in the short term. The long term solution required running a long ethernet cable to my desktop instead of relying on my Nighthawk router. The router also struggles with limited 6E configuration options. 6ghz is limited to the new encrypted "Enhanced Open" protocol and WPA-3. Unfortunatley that comes with a significant nuber of compatibility and security issues. The "optional" configuration applications are only fully featured for a year. When the trial ends, you lose a decent amount of functionality. The added functions heavily rely on MAC addresses, so they are easily fooled and can cause a large number of duplicate "devices" if any of your personal devices utilize MAC address randomization (I had hundreds of copies of my Pixel phone). The router offfers tri-band coverage at a relatively low price point, but there are too many compromises to consider this a viable option in the long term.
