Got this product 2 weeks back so far so good and I am using RCN which works perfectly with it

Bought so I wasn't paying a joke of a monthly rental fee from the cable company. For using with a Gigabit Ethernet connection and it works great, typically have a dozen and a half devices continuously connected in my home network and works great in conjunction with my Netgear Nighthawk wireless router.

Easy setup, works great...no issues ...waiting for gigablast

Per comcast new requirement, you need a Doscis 3.1 modem to have their 1 gigabit service (even if the modem says can support gigabit speeds, like the SB 6190, if its not Doscics 3.1, IT WILL NOT WORK WITH COMCAST). So I had to get this one. It worked fine, however I wasn't getting the speeds, I was maxing out at 400mbps, contacted comcast they reprovisioned and nothing, same. I don't know if it was defective or some incompatibility there. I had to exchange it for an Arris SB8200 and that one worked fine. YMMV.

So I am a Comcast internet (or Xfinity whichever you call it) and I recently upgraded to 1 Gbps speed. One thing they said I need was a Docs 3.1 Compatable modem. So I looked around from people in store, to friends, and even online that this was the best you could get. So far I highly agree and the setup process for me easy and fast.

Using it with Xfinity. Very reliable. Haven't had any issues.

I want to be careful with this review so I don't discourage anyone that it could be perfect for. I think that this would be a fantastic unit for anyone that wants easy setup, lower cost and has a really small place, like an apartment. It will certainly work for a small to medium home

I bought this modem for my 1Gb internet plan and it works great but I wish it had more than one Ethernet port on the back.

It is very easy to set up and the internet works very well!

Good modem no wifi so needs a separate router great 3.1

great docsis 3.1 set up very easy and the performance was measurable

Works good, doesn't drop connection. On off button is a nice feature.

What's not to love about a product that works well?

A little pricey but that extra money does go somewhere.
