I had to by new modem since my ISP talked me into getting more speed. They didn't bother to tell me that my current modem, which was less than a year old was not compatible. This modem corrected the problem I was having. Guess who the ISP was!

I actually own this router and the Arris modem. They are both comparable and I haven't noticed a significant performance difference. The Arris modem has a smaller form factor, which I like better, but this modem seems to boot up and restart a little quicker when needed. Only problems I have had with either modem so far have been on the ISP's end... That's a whole different story.

Not super impressed, the speed isn’t as good as the modem I received from Comcast however my internet doesn’t go in and out anymore. Kids complain more about the internet than they did with the last modem and routers. Debating on returning.

After upgrading to gigabit, needed to buy a good router. This is good.

Personal home WIFI system. I no longer lease my internet equipment from the cable companies. I have purchased my own internet router, and now simply pay $40.00 for my home internet.

Needed a new Modem only box after dropping cable and going with YouTube TV. This one is great. No more drop outs and connection speed is much faster than out 1 year old Netgear Modem/Router combo

Good product.....but could have better troubleshooting features! I have intermittent internet speed issues......Netgear says it is Comcast......Comcast says its Netgear. I need a way to monitor the input speeds and output speeds to determine who is responsible for the speed issue. That would make this product far superior than any other!!!!

This modem was easy to install and has functioned well since it was purchased.

For a connected family of 4, this modem operates pretty well.

I would give this a 5 star. However this was very hard to get connected to my ISP, Comcast. I called them twice and was told both times that they needed to do a service call to get it connected. I am very tech savvy and that was not the case. Once I finally got the modem connected my Speed was fantastic

So far it has been great. I have cox and it seems like I have to get a new router every 2 years so here's hoping this will last more than 2 years.

Good cable modem. Very easy to setup and takes very little time.

Blazing fast, easy to set up and so far no issues. Wish there was more than one Ethernet port to hardwire my work lap top but otherwise, this is perfect if you only need to pug in your router.

Most up to date netgear system for home tv/internet

I'm quite happy with this purchase. I finally was "DONE" with CenturyLink and their cheap-a** equipment. I switched over to XFINITY and decided to purchase new equipment myself. This cable modem was recommended by some of my friends and I'm glad they did!
