I was experiencing some disruption in my home wi-fi (signal would stop for a minute or so, then continue) so I decided to try a different modem since I already had Orbi routers. This has increased my download and upload speeds and has eliminated the wi-fi outages.

This thing looks like a space ship and takes me to the stars.

I have 2 buy a new one bc the one I got from Comcast was mad slow

Quick delivery easy setup very happy with it . Better then cox modem

Overall good modem. However it was a little cumbersome to setup with Xfinity. It also takes a little time to sync after a reboot.

Not opened yet, due to house not being completed, but it is sleek and space efficient.

Product increased speeds, But the design makes it impossible to mount on a wall or in a rack.

I wasn't a fan of netgear.so I took a chance a got this one and I don't regret it.

I purchased this in February 2020. By the end of September 2020, it was constantly losing connection with comcast. I called comcast to figure out the concerns with the connection. They told me that there was an issue with the downstream connection from comcast and that it was related to a firmware issue. Comcast said I would need to either buy a new router or file a ticket with Netgear. I called netgear this afternoon to start the RMA process. They told me that they have have a one year warranty for hardware issues on their products, but only a three month warranty for other issues. To get any support for my modem, I would need to purchase a service plan. A three month service plan for the item was $49.99. I let the representative know that their product support was terrible, and that I would likely go with another product. I went to BestBuy this afternoon and purchased the Arris SB8200. It was the same price that I paid for the Netgear CM1000, and seems to work so far. I'm hoping it lasts longer than seven months. I purchased the Best Buy extended service plan as well. While I wouldn't normally write this, I can't continue to support Netgear with their awful warranties. I have a Netgear AC1750 router. When it inevitably stops working, I'll go to Linksys, ASUS, Nest or another brand.

It was difficult with not seeing the product, just a picture. The employee did his best to answer my questions from outside the store.

Decent, no issues yet. Will be returning do to contacting support for there nighthawk AX6 and experiencing terrible service.

Great product and easy to install. Works as promised.

Plugged it in and it sorted itself out after a quick call to the cable company.
