Great quality !! Works great fast speed good price for the machine

Purchased last year to replace cable modem. Stopped working after a little over a year.

Says it works with my internet provider but they could never get it to connect. Spent $$$ and can’t use. Found out hard way only 15 days to return. Took a month of going back and forth with internet to find it was my device that wouldn’t work.

Called for help installing at netgear, ended up talking to someone in India and couldn't understand them. Called 3 times, got hungup on 3 times. Findly called Comcast and got it installed.

I bought this modem less than two years ago based on the solid reviews. And until this week, this modem was true to those reviews--it worked well every single day. Until it completely died instantly. All the lights went orange and essentially the modem fried itself. In looking at other 1-star reviews, this premature death is happening to many folks. It will work great right until you pass the warranty expiration and then between 13 and 22 months, it dies on you. $200 down the drain.

I thought it would make a big difference to upgrade to the nighthawk, but it really did.

Bought this 5 months ago and it has worked perfectly since.

Complicated to connect. Ended up sitting in my closet because it’s so hard to return electronics at Best Buy. Not simple.

While worked it was excellent; however hardware failure after 1.5 month of use. While Netgear offered to exchange unit, choice between paying $30 for expedited shipping (20% of modem cost) or waiting for 4-7 business days after they receive my unit (I work from home so this is not an option) was not so great. Thankfully bestbuy was willing to take it back!

I have gone through two of these. It might be the quality, it might be my luck. I don't know. The first one worked for about three months and then refused to turn on. The second one worked for two days. I've had bad luck with Arris and Motorola (those only lasted for about 1 to 3 years) so I changed over to Netgear and it's just as bad. The Arris / Motorola modems always overheat and eventually die, while the Netgear modems just drop connection for no reason. It seems that the quality of the modems have gotten worse over the years.

This CM1000 modem is very easy to connect. Brand new and kept falling off of Spectrum’s network causing me to call to reconnect the modem. I returned this modem and would not recommend.

Good fit for docsis 3.1 i would recommend this product

Not really worth what it cost and set up wasn't easy. I did get it set up, but too way to long to get the WiFi connections to work.

Disappointed since speed is supposed to be much higher. Even after Comcast came out and invested about $200 for device. Wast worth investment, since only improved 30mbps

Did not work for my setup, it might for others but wasn't as user friendly as the Motorola surfboard.

I generally prefer other brands but the modem is working well enough to not complain about

Easy setup for non-tech ppl like myself. No issues.

Great replacement for the rental item I had before. Have had no issues with its performance.
